Pool privileges at Wilderness Lodge?

do you have to be staying at WL, CC, or BRV to be able to use the Pools there? We are staying at C
C with our daughter, SIL, and grandchildren but their other grandparents will be staying on Disney property but not at the Lodge.

If they are our guests?

Yes, you must be a guest there to use the pools unless they are DVC members (who can pool hop at some resorts, and I don't remember if the WL pools are eligble).

They would have to be on your reservation to be able to swim st the pools at WL Unless they are DVC members staying on their points and pool hopping is not blacked out, which it is at the WL pools.
 


The new villas pool at the WL has locked gates and you need a MB to gain entry. The main pool has gates, too, and CM's will often scan MB's before allowing entry.
 


I didn't know you could pool hop with DVC....and I am a DVC member. I'm assuming the BC/YC isn't on the list....?
 
If your room occupancy permits, you can add them to your reservation and then they can swim with you. There may be an additional charge but that might not be the case if you are DVC.

It really isn’t much of a benefit anymore. They have excluded most of the deluxe hotels. Here is the list of exclusions:

Pool hopping is not available at the following pools, with no exceptions to this policy:
  • Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort – Bay Cove Pool
  • Disney's Art of Animation Resort – pools
  • Disney’s Beach Club Villas – leisure pool
  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – pools
  • Disney's Polynesian Village Resort – The Lava Pool and leisure pool
  • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Boulder Ridge Cove Pool and The Copper Creek Springs Pool
  • Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort – Stormalong Bay
There are also black out dates that revolved around most major holidays. Before they opened BCV you could pool hop to SAB. We used to stay at BWV all the time and hop over there.
