Train or Magical Shuttle bus?

Sorry if this already been asked. Am I better off taking the 10-minute train from DLP to CDG or the 66€ shuttle bus that takes an hour? I get that it's about an additional 10 minute walk to the train station. But it seems like it would be faster and cheaper on the train.

The bus should be 23 euro per adult... or are you taking a private shuttle?

I would take the train, but in both cases, I would take plenty of time to get to the airport in case of delays.

Thanks. There was a 66€ add-on for the shuttle bus when booking the hotel. Leave it to Disney to add its markup :)

Train unless you have mobility issues or difficulties handling your luggage. Train is easier and faster.

Any specific instructions on how to take the train from CDG to DLP? I’ll be traveling alone with my kids after an overnight flight, so would love any advice!

How many kids? If you are with 3 or more people, a car service might be cheaper and definitely more convenient. Definitely after an overnight flight.

Otherwise:
The train station is near terminal 2 F and you follow the signs. This site might help to give you an idea where it is. Skip the part about the RER.

Give yourself plenty of time with bagage and customs to get to the station, if you are unfamiliar with the station, I think it is best to take a later train and have breakfast at Paul's or Relay, instead of rushing.

Thanks! It's me and a 14 and 15 year old, when I added up the car it was a lot more money. We're not in a hurry and it sounds like the train is a reasonable option. From the train station to the hotel I need to figure out though, we're at Vienna House Dream Castle...

There are shuttle buses from the stations to the hotels. When you get out of the station you will be right in front of the bus station, it will take you about 10-15 minutes from the station to Dream House Castle.
If time is no issue, you could indeed take your time, get some breakfast and then get on the train and the bus to the hotel.

Out of curioity, may I ask which car companies you checked? The most common ones here BT-Transfer, Ezy shuttle and Driving Blue charge between 55-70 euro per one way for 3 people with baggage from Charles de Gaulle to DLP / Vienna Dream Castle.
The train tickets start from 19 euro when you are able to get the lowest fare. Hence the car companies get cheaper when it's 3 or more people.

Car is still a long drive - but kids could sleep. Train is about 10 minutes and you are right at Downtown Disney at the terminal with tons of taxis outside to finish the trip to the hotel.

I know the train is quicker but personally I prefer the bus... I think I just feel more like I'm officially arriving at Disney when I'm in the magic bus :rotfl:
