Bus service times?

We are staying at the Fort in a couple weeks. I’ve noticed they now have the tv monitors with wait times of each bus to the park. Is there some type of app that you can get to know these times without standing at the bus stop?

Word of advice, those times are constantly changing so give yourself a 5 minute cushion.

I think its a little buried on the app, so I'm going to try & explain where to find the times.

On MDE, log-in so it knows who you are & which resort you're staying at. On my Android, there's a 3 hash line menu in the lower right corner, click on it. Then you'll see another menu on the screen, click on 'resort hotel'. Then another menu appears, click on 'bus times'.

Sounds like a lot & as others have posted, its not a perfect system, but it sure beats not having the info. It also only shows your resort, so if your returning from parks or visiting another resort, it won't help. I used it to know when to leave my room each morning.

Also, VERY important, you are staying at FW & I've not stayed there since bus times started appearing on the app. But, I'm going to assume the app will not show internal bus times, which run continuously, but are still a timing factor. If I were at my site & saw a bus leaving in 20min on the app, I would assume I would not make that one, but the next. You might wait 15 min. on the internal bus, then have to wait again on the external bus.

Thank you for the descriptive information. This should definitely help me find the bus info.

We will have a golf cart because I am too impatient to wait for the internal bus. When I need to see Mickey, I don’t have time to wait. LOL!

I'm going to assume you only get bus times when the app realizes you are on resort. I followed your instructions and once I hit resort hotel I didn't get the bus times option.

You have to be checked in to an active stay. It does not pick up whether you are on site. In other words, you can check in on arrival day but not yet be at WDW & start to see bus times. This is how it knows which resort to show you, its not based on your current location.

Okay! Thank you so much! I got it!
