All Moderate Resorts

I have a question. Is ALL of the moderate resorts room access from the outside? So are the doors all facing outside? I do not like hotels that have the doors on the outside and I am trying a moderate to stay at next year. If there is a resort that has the doors on the inside please let me know the name.

Which from the room photos at least appear to be Deluxe level rooms for under 300 bucks. Seems like a good deal if you don't mind the convention crowds all around you.

Only CSR tower has hallways. WDW is the only place we much rather have our room door open to the outside.

Yep. We stay at La Quinta most other places as it has interior door entrances. However. At Disney. We love opening the door to the World. Pop or POFQ is our choice

Some of Disney’s interior halls can get very long... AKL both Jambo House and Kidani Village were excruciating. Nice to just walk outside sometimes.

By the way... Disney Moderate outside doors aren’t typically right by a parking lot like most motels.

The moderate resorts at Disney do not have a motel feel to me. Even if you can see the parking lots you are not right up on top of them. There is a guard stationed at the gated entrance to the parking lot. The grounds are better landscaped and well light. Plus, the theming definitely separated the moderates from a run of the mill sketchy motel.

THIS!

It's not like staying at a motel by the side of the highway with exterior walkways...very much a resort feeling. If you don't want to open your door to a parking lot, then book a level above standard view... Book garden, water or pool, etc.

Even if you face a parking lot, there is usually landscaping between the building and the parking lot. It's not like a Motel 6 where the cars park right up against the building. You can do a google maps aerial view to see the layout.

Same with us. If we go to elsewhere on vacation I always try to make sure we book something with interior access .

I have no problem with exterior entrances, but I might be willing to accept the tradeoff of an interior hallway if it means I get a balcony.
