Strollers in the Hallways at Resorts

Is this something new? I just spent a week in a beautiful 2 bedroom villa at Beach Club Villas.

People didn't take their strollers into their villa. The hallways were littered with strollers. Some not even bothering to pull them tight to the wall.

Are people now treating public spaces as an extension of their room? It ruins the upscale feel of the resort.

I saw so much entitlement this past trip, I wouldn't be surprised if people just start storing their luggage in the hallway.

I’ve always seen ECVs all through the halls and have been amazed they allow it. I have to admit I’ve only seen a few strollers over my years, I kind of hope it isn’t becoming a thing. In my experience the halls are cluttered enough with housekeeping carts! While I would love to get the double stroller out of the room, we have always managed to make it work.

That does sound like an eyesore, plus could be hazardous. Also, I’d be worried someone would steal it. Weird behavior. I doubt they’d leave their strollers or EVC in hallways at non-Disney hotels.
I guess you could complain at the front desk. They’d probably go & ask the family to remove the strollers.

Maybe it's an unannounced form of silent protest to the size restrictions? "Disney doesn't realize how many people this effects, we'll show them".

The strollers are open, sitting in the hallway??? I would think there hardly would be room left in the hallways.

I’ve seen this at the Poly-both ECVs and double strollers but really nowhere else

Not only strollers, but ECVs, too. And some of the extra wide ones. And they weren't being charged. Most were outside studios. We had a few moments when we were walking down the hall and met guests going the opposite direction and one of us had to stand to the side to let the others through because the stroller or scooter took up too much space.

It would have been fun to play musical chairs with these things left in the hallway. Let that guest find their stuff.

We were at Yacht Club last week and noticed several double strollers left in the hallways. We commented on it because it did seem much more prevalent than previous trips.

It probably bothered me more than it should have. I just think it is super bold to not take responsibility for your property. I think it's downright rude for someone to clog up a hallway/ruin a thoughtful theme.

I can't even talk about the ECVs yet. Rudest people ever.
