It doesn't matter how you checked out Guest or otherwise, it's a security measure. They did the same to me a while back. I believe the phone number you used during check out is the same one you had to use when calling them back. It's all good! :flower3:
I have ordered over 20 gc in the last year under my account and as guest and only have had my order not go through one other time when the whole address verification with virtual visas. I just wanted to give an FYI if you have not received your egift card check your voicemail.

When you used virtual Visa did you use a cash back website and did you link that card to your account? Lastly did you get your CB?
I have a $25 VV from SB not sure the best way to use it.

Why would you take a Walmart gift card from Swagbucks? You can just have them deposit the money in your paypal account.
I’m trying to save as much as possible for my trip. If I send it to my PayPal, I’m going to spend it. On Mypoints I’ll just get a Visa then buy a Walmart egift Card With it.

Because once a month you can redeem SB points for discounted Walmart gc, by depositing directly into your PP account you don't save as much.

Yes, but you can just as easily get a visa gift card at a higher discount once a month, which can be used anywhere. The $25 Visa card is 2175 Swagbucks, the $25 Walmart gift card is 2200 Swagbucks. You can use the $25 visa card and buy a walmart gift card if you really want that and it will be 25 Swagbucks less.

Yes, but you asked specifically about Walmart.

I cashed out for a $25 VV from SB then attached it to my PayPal account. I then purchased a $25 e-gift card from shop Disney with PayPal. Typically how long does it take to receive the ecard?

Assuming you don't forget to redeem it before it's too late. They have short expiration dates and if you slip and miss the expiration date, you're out $25 instead of having an extra 25 cents.

So if you're organized and never forget, yes, the VVs are a better savings and more versatile. The Walmarts are slightly more expensive (only 12% off vs 13% off), but have no expiration date, and yes, you're locked in to Walmart. But there's plenty to buy at Walmart/Sam's Club, so I'm not worried about never using it all up.

One last caveat - if you use most of a VV's value, it can be a pain to find a way to spend the entire balance. Not impossible, just sort of a pain.

I’m doing that lol. My 12th grade English teacher always told me that I never finished my thoughts when writing.

Just immediately buy a $25 Sam’s Club gc with the VV. :-)

I’ve been getting 1 VV each month and then I buy myself a $25 Costco gc. Having those VV’s sitting around here bugs me.

Is the 7% Target RMN deal online or in store? And has anyone bought online AND purchased eGift cards? My trip is in 3 days and I have enough for this one but not for Aug/Sept trip.....

I did this a few times and it took 1 to 2 hours to receive by email, except the one I bought yesterday took overnight to come through.

I bought an egift card online on Saturday using my Target debit and received the RMN cash back email today.

Thanks I purchased mine this afternoon and still nothing. It’s my first time doing this and was worried I messed something up I’ll just keep and eye out for it overnight.

In the past I’ve used the VVs on shopDisney with my ebates and gotten the cash back. But recently it’s been hit or miss. Usually I need a filler to get the cash back.

I tried to purchase a $25 e-gift card at Shop Disney with a VV I got from SB yesterday. But I attached it to my PayPal account instead of using the VV directly thru their website. Never got an email with the e-gift card but received a phone call from Disney and they conferenced PayPal in on the call to verify my PayPal account, I gave the information they requested but the PayPal customer service lady dropped off the call. So I continued talking to the Disney rep, she said that they could not accept my purchase using a VV attached to my PayPal or even paying directly with my VV. I tried explain how I heard this has worked and should work with the VV thru PayPal but she said it's a new policy in the last month or so. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to have my money put back on my VV. I have a large chunk of SB saved up and I was going to go this route (using VV's for Disney gift cards) to get gift cards for our next trip. I had hoped it was a one off thing so I called back, got a different person and got told the same thing. I'm new to this process of getting Disney gift cards. Can I use my VV at a physical Walmart to get gift cards? Or do I need to cash out to Walmart gift cards and use them, but I don't want to be stuck with Walmart gift cards. I guess I can try to cash out to a PayPal gift card and then transfer the money to my account. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Is this good for all Discover cards or just certain ones? My hubby has a Discover Card he hasn't used in quite awhile. . .

It good for the cards that have the 5% cash back categories. Check your cashback bonus calendar to see all the categories and activate them (you won't earn the bonus until it's activated).
