Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

Cheap. And totally appropriate :).

My goodness! If you are going to comment, could you at least answer the question?

OP- It was around $55 when we were there in December, and it was one of our favorite dining experiences. We were on the dining plan so I never really checked the beverage prices, but they had some smoked whisky thing that my DSIL enjoyed a lot, and the "magical" drinks for the under 21 set were fun. SWEET, but fun.

The character interaction was excellent. We are all adults with one 17 YO, and we had more fun with Grumpy and Dopey than should be legal, and Snow was hysterical with my DH. My Heroine, the Evil QUeen lived up to my expectations, and left me aspiring to be her! LOL!!!

The food is good. This is no longer a signature dining experience, as our friend @Dean Marino was bemoaning in his responses, but the eatery has managed to find a way to not only finally fill the house, but to serve guests a nice meal that is not buffet or AYCTE, and to personalize the experience with a visit from a few old friends.

I would plan to spend about $75 a person with a beverage, tax and tip.

We enjoyed our meal ther in March as well. It is an opportunity to meet characters that are difficult to meet otherwise unless you do a holiday party. I loved the Evil Queen—she played her role wonderfully! The appetizers were OK, my entree was great (I think I had the pork shank). It was pricey but I would do it again.

Have you eaten there? You trash it in other threads as well, but I haven't read what you actually disliked about it...other than you were upset that Artist Point was closing and being replaced with this.

This is what I take issue with. Dining is personal and we all have our favorites and those we refuse to visit ever again. If someone asks for opinions they may not state this, but they want the opinion to be based on actual experiences, not on a snit someone is in because a favorite restaurant needed to make a change. If @Dean Marino would state what he does not like about the restaurant other than it is a "cheap" meal like all "character" meals I would be okay with this. When people ask about Storybook Dining they now are referring to the reincarnation of AP, know that it is a character dining experience, and understand it is no longer a signature restaurant, and want information about this dining experience. Blanket naysaying without any specific examples is not helpful to anyone.
