California Grill or Artist Point?

We have reservations for dinner on mother’s day for both California Grill and Artist Point. Which would you choose and why? It will be my husband, myself, and two daughters age 9 and 6. We don’t have the dining plan. We are planning on spending the morning at MK and then swimming at our resort POFQ that afternoon then getting back out for dinner. Also we do have reservations at storybook dining another night so could do it then but also trying to be budget conscious. And since we will have our girls with us so just wondering about California Grill/kids, etc.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I too would do CG especially since you already have a later reservation for Storybook Dining. As for children and CG, they are welcomed and I frequently see parties of all ages eating there. Nice children menu and of course they serve pizza.
Enjoy the day wherever you choose to eat.

Since it's Mother's Day, let's go with Cali Grill. Mom deserves a great meal (service and food). And then you can watch the fireworks from there.

another vote for California Grill. since you already have a reservation for story book dining, I would not do it twice one week.
While not inexpensive, the food at CG is very good. CG is kid friendly as is just about any WDW restaurant.
As mentioned, cancel the one you aren't going to use. One, that helps somebody who wants that ADR and then you won't get charged a noshow fee.

Please cancel the sought after reservation you can not use so that another family may also enjoy Mothers Day. Holding 2 dinner reservations for the same night is very self centered IMHO

Which is why she is asking...

OP - I read the whole post...you are asking because of budget consciousness. Personally, the menu at Storybook appeals to me more than CG, so I would do AP on Mother's Day and cancel CG AND the later Storybook.

Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the input. Of course I will cancel one of them. And planning on canceling soon which is why I was asking for advice!

California Grill is a great restaurant and is one of my kids' favorites. I would do that for sure!
I have not done Storybook dining, but it gets very mixed reviews. If you have a reservation for it later in the week then try it then, and stick with CG for Mother's Day.
