Disney's IT system is seriously anxiety producing

Very frustrating 2 days with WDTC and Disney Rewards Visa. I paid off the June trip using my Disney Rewards Redemption Card and somehow Disney lost my $3300 in rewards that I accumulated over FIVE years and they weren't applied to my reservation. Chase said they definitely paid them to WDTC but they weren't linked to a specific reservation. Disney wanted proof of the transaction in writing, which Chase said they had no way to provide (really? Can't screenshot whatever they are telling me they see). Neither side wanted to reverse the charges and do it over. TA had to escalate it and call Disney CA business offices. They said they fixed it but now can't email a paid off invoice because the Disney email system isn't working!

Wow. That is anxiety producing for sure. It will get straightened out, but what a thing to put you through.

I am so sorry. I came empathize with you. Something similar happened to us but not as bad. I was so stressed out over it.

What an ordeal to go through. I hope everything works out. Disney owes you an apology and some sort of compensation for the stress.

How awful. Did you call the payment in? If so, they should have a record of the phone call.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Still no email from Disney but I just called again and they confirmed again that my balance owed is zero. What a relief. I can sleep tonight! They said they are having technical difficulties. That is an understatement when they misplace $3300!

The entire system has been up and down today. Glad it was resolved.

Disney once lost my BLT 2 bedroom reservation and the 400+ points used to make it ONE week from checkin. It was a very stressful week not knowing if we would have a villa when we arrived.

In the end, it all worked out. Yours will too, even if it is stressful right now
