Sadly, all the riders had an automatic $79 payment added for “BTM Behind the Scenes Tour...”
Maybe he hadn't pushed his lap bar all the way down? CMs don't check to see how far down the lap bar is, only to see if it is firmly in place ("jiggle your lap bar, please") so that it can't pop back up. If he was foolish enough to jump out of the ride vehicle for his phone (Doh!), then clearly "safety first!" is not a familiar concept to him. Or consideration for his fellow guests, either.
BTM?
Exactly. There was a time, years ago, when CMs were checking regularly to see if the lap bar did go down as far as it could to minimize that gap between different sized passengers in the same seat. That phase didn't last long, but it was interesting -- and not that comfortable for the larger passenger.Well, I didn't watch the video, but I have been on BTMRR with friends who are much larger than me. The lap bar comes nowhere near me and I could easily slip out. Fortunately it is not necessary for them to be closed that tightly, but it can be easy enough to get out of them...
