Fool jumps out of BTM to retrive his phone

Aside from simply being unsafe and inconsiderate to other guests, I suspect this guest got a firm talking-to from DL Security.
 


Maybe he hadn't pushed his lap bar all the way down? CMs don't check to see how far down the lap bar is, only to see if it is firmly in place ("jiggle your lap bar, please") so that it can't pop back up. If he was foolish enough to jump out of the ride vehicle for his phone (Doh!), then clearly "safety first!" is not a familiar concept to him. Or consideration for his fellow guests, either. :(

Well, I didn't watch the video, but I have been on BTMRR with friends who are much larger than me. The lap bar comes nowhere near me and I could easily slip out. Fortunately it is not necessary for them to be closed that tightly, but it can be easy enough to get out of them. I would never of course purposely get out on a moving ride for any reason at all.
 
I probably would have gotten thrown out of the park for hitting that moron upside his head when I caught up with him. People are so fricking stupid.
 
You know if you're going to be stupid, go for the gusto and go for the Darwin. Don't be forgotten 3 days later as even mediocre at being stupid. Go for the creme de la creme of absolute stupidity.

Exactly. There was a time, years ago, when CMs were checking regularly to see if the lap bar did go down as far as it could to minimize that gap between different sized passengers in the same seat. That phase didn't last long, but it was interesting -- and not that comfortable for the larger passenger.
 
And then to upload your lunacy for all to see. Did I hear him correctly (as he turned off the video at the end)--saying "arrested"? Should have been. . .
