BOG PPO 180+1...chances?

Hi there, my 180 day window is coming next week and wondering what my chances are for a BOG PPO ADR at 180+1? In terms of being able to get up I feel this is our best chance to get out of the room early. Will be our first park day and everyone will be excited and eager to get out. Not sure if snagging the actual reservation will be possible though. Thanks!

I would say your guess is as good as anyone's. With that said, you can always keep trying to search for a PPO on your own or with reservation finder on Touring Plans, even up to the evening prior and morning of.

I was just able to get a BOG dinner reservation on Sunday for 180+1. I could have chosen 7:30 or 8:15. I don’t know if the $$ prix fixe menu makes dinner more available these days though.

If you can’t get your PPO ADR, there’s a good chance something could open up the day or 2 before you go, as people cancel their plans right before the 24-hour deadline. That’s happened for us before too.

Good luck!

We got our BOG PPO for 3 about 3 weeks before our trip (we didn’t even decide to go until about 6 weeks before our trip). I even found one for the next day during our trip—we didn’t take it since we were supposed to have heavy rains that morning and I thought 7DMT would be down due to weather.

Don't rely heavily on the park hours posted 180 days out and events being added. We had 1 for a Sunday which now is a EMM days so that has been dropped. Other one we have 8am, but they may change to an 8am opening.

Even if you can't get it right on your 180 day (which I think you will), there's a good chance that one will pop up later if you check regularly. I highly recommend setting up a reservation finder in that situation. Also keep in mind that all PPO reservations are let in at the same time, so 8:45am, for example, is just as good at 8:05am. Now that's all assuming park hours don't change to open early, of course, which can happen. Good luck!

BOG PPO is pretty easy to get relative to lunch IME. I think your chances are good.

Right now, there is an 8:25 slot available for 180 days out, so I think you will be fine at 180+1 for something.

I would just make sure you check Disney's calendar and make sure you are avoiding extra magic hour and early morning magic days because there's really no huge benefit to getting to bog ppo those days.

I disagree with the EMM days. The number of people at EMM is so low that it has no impact on the PPO breakfast people, so it's still a benefit. And the bonus is that park hours won't change on that day to open earlier (except in the rare case that EMM gets cancelled).

We went in November last year. The trip was planned way after the 180 day mark (early July for an early Nov trip) and there were none when I first started looking. I checked daily for 2 months and set up a TP Reservation Finder, but inevitably by the time I responded the slot was taken. DH checked on a whim one day about 6 or 8 weeks before the trip, and of course he got one, LOL! If he hadn't, I think a lot more would have opened up closer to the trip as others moved things around. Hopefully you'll get it on ADR day, but if not keep checking.

We booked a group of 8 for an 8AM with a 9AM park opening after the 180 day window opened on our late June MK day. I don't think you should have a problem.

Unless you want to eat there without wasting park time! That's 75% of my reason, and 25% is getting to 7DMT before the rope drop crowd. I don't want to waste the short waits of early morning park time on breakfast, I don't like their lunch menu, and I don't want to go while it's a 2 credit signature dinner. So I'll be trying for a PPO breakfast when ADR day comes, and I hope you're all right and they're easy to get at 180 days.

I made my reservations on Saturday and had no trouble with BOG PPO any day of my short 4 day trip. I just checked and there is still an 8:30 am opening for 7 people on October 28.

Thanks for all of the replies and that link to touring plans. I’m hopeful now that it’s possible! :-)
