Several questions

I'm not seeing a FAQ post. Am I missing it?

Several things.

1. When making reservations, who counts toward total? Everyone, including the under 3 crowd, or just guests that require tickets? (I have the same question for room booking purposes, if anyone can answer that for me, too.)
2. If you're staying on rented points, how does that work with MDE and being able to book at 180+10?
3. Once you're booked, do you just link anyone that's in your party through MDE in order for them to be able to help snag reservations?

We were last in WDW in 2012, so I know a lot has changed. Working on planning for August 2020. TIA!

The only answer I know is #2. I am staying at BWV on rented points from an owner I met here. The ressie was made in my name and is linked to my MDE account. Today was my 180+10 and I booked every ADR I wanted. I bought tickets thru UT before the change to date-specific and those are also now linked to MDE. I reserved magical express online and that is linked. Very easy.

1. For all dining reservations (inc dessert parties, dinner shows, special events, etc) everyone needs to be included, regardless of age, whether they'll be eating or not and whether they'll take up a seat or not.

#1 - everyone who will be at the table, seated on a lap or in a chair.
#2 - yes, you can link it and book at 180+10. If you're doing a split stay (changing resorts), you may have to get the DVC owner to link the reservations as continuous to be able to book through til the end. I know when I did my split stays, I had three different days to do the ADRs for because we were there for 2 weeks and 3 resorts.
#3 - yes, link them all. That way, you can also see each other's Memory Maker pictures.
