CocoCay Waterpark

I heard not all attractions will be open in May.
RCCL has always said that some stuff won't be done until December - but that is more the cabanas and beach areas from what I understand. They are still saying the water park is on schedule for opening in a couple weeks. Which seems very ambitious based on the last picture I saw posted (Matt Yee on Facebook posted a pic not too long ago...he's a performer on Anthem. It still looked like there was a good amount to finish on the water slide, and then the ground areas still need to be landscaped/finished).
ETA: my cruise is in 26 days and they are still selling the zip line, water park access, balloon ride, etc. So they are still maintaining that it will be open when I go. Fingers crossed they can make it happen!

I was there a couple of weeks ago, the slides are pretty much done, it's just cleaning up and painting/finishing off that needs doing. You could see Splash away bay and the pirate ship bit was finished, and they're free, so I would think they would make sure the things that will make money would be done as a priority. and most of the cranes that had been there before were gone.

It wont let me upload any of the photos I have...

That's encouraging! Considering the pier was supposed to be done months before my November trip and didn't open until recently, my faith in RC getting things done had been dashed. Maybe they are redeeming themselves.

The pier was delayed thanks to unexpected weather and sea conditions, but they could still continue with the work on land.

I think the pier is the more important improvement. I love Disneyas Castaway Cay you can just walk off the ship on to the island whenever we want on the day if visit. So looking forward to he able to do the same here when it opens.
