This doesn’t sound good (EMH going away?)

Just in the 1 week of October there are 4 nights of ticketed events so very possible. Another thought is sunset is by 7pm by then so cutting evenings saves them a bit on electricity vs sunrise around 8am.
The sun has always set earlier in the fall and winter.

If they're doing that to save money, I wonder if they'll drop ticket prices.

Except for they are still having events during most of the evenings, staying open until midnight.

Pretty soon they will sell tickets for every 2 hours of the day. Since I’ve heard of these extra ticketed “events” that’s all I’ve thought of. I mean they have daily rates for tickets and if there happens to be a hard ticket event you get kicked out early. It seems weird and so money hungry.

Do people plan around EMH? When we planned our trip we already had our dates planned, hotel booked and had a rough idea of which park which day before EMH was even released. Then it just happened that some had EMH while we were there. We only do one park per day so EMH is kind of luck of the draw. This seems like more of a loss for park hopper people.

Do you get park hoppers? They're expensive. It seems useless to get them if the latest you can stay at any park is 9pm now. You can't hop over to MK after closing another park.

We are AP holders. But when we aren’t we always have hoppers. We never stay in same park all day.

They’re gonna get nailed when the economy crashes, and honestly they deserve it. There is no valid reason to stay onsite anymore:

Nightly parking fees
Transportation to and from the parks is horrible
Select offsite hotels now get 60 day fast passes
Magic Hours at MK being removed, and you can bet the other parks will follow suit as well

If you’re tired of this stuff, take a break from the parks for at least a year, I promise you if enough people do it, it will have an effect.
