Lockers for an extended time

It's been awhile since we've been to Universal, but if I remember right, the ride lockers are free (or close to it?) for a reasonable period of time while you are riding the ride. I'm wondering what options there are for a longer locker rental. I like to bring along flip-flops for when we ride the water rides so our shoes aren't soaked. I'd love to stick those in a locker until we are ready to ride, if that's an option?

(also, I did follow the "lockers" link in the FAQ sticky, but it now goes to First Aid - and I couldn't find any information on lockers using the search on the Universal site).

Thanks!

SORRY . . . I couldn't find it on this thread or the Universal site, but when I did a simple Google search, I found this on Undercover Tourist:

"If you bring a large backpack with items (like bathing suits, towels, change of clothes, etc.) that you don’t necessarily need to lug around with you all day, you can choose to use Universal’s all-day lockers, which are located near the entrances of the parks. For these lockers, you can return anytime and continue to use the same locker throughout the day.

These stations also have two different sizes: large lockers or family lockers. The large lockers cost $10, while the family lockers cost $15. There is a limited amount, but we don’t see too many families using these lockers, so you shouldn’t need to worry about not getting one.

These all-day lockers are emptied one hour after park closing, so don’t forget your belongings!"

Here`s a couple of pictures of the regular lockers as you enter the Studios...….

They are on the right hand side as you come into the park...…and the family lockers are just behind them, there is a sign showing you where they are.

IOA lockers are clearly signposted too.

We have used the lockers at the front of the park before for the purpose of storing our rain coats, and another time for storing our City Walk purchases while we attended HHN. They were very easy to use.

There's also a smaller bank of lockers (for a cost) over next to Ripsaw Falls at IOA. Whenever we don't have a locker at the front of the park, I will rent one of these to store my purse in while we ride Ripsaw Falls, Bluto's, and Jurassic Park. I then will come back and retrieve my purse. These may be a good option for you due to their location. I believe you can leave the items in there all day since you're paying for it.

Do you happen to know if the lockers by Ripsaw Falls are the same price as the ones at the front of the park? I know lockers intended for short-term storage are sometimes more expensive than those intended to be used all day.

I just Googled it and it looks like its $4 for 90 minutes and $3 every half hour after that, for a daily max of $20. So seems like it would only make sense to use these lockers if you need it for less than three hours.
