All-Star Sports is now offering Remote Control car races on select days at Mount Mickey-how cool!:)

(Mount Mickey is located between Hoops Hotel and Center Court.)

They have also started providing Lawn Games for Guest in the "Outfield" at the Grand Slam Pool in Home Run Hotel.

I love how the Values continue to add new little fun things!:)

Ill be arriving with a group of 6 this October. We are all between 21-26 years old. We will have 2 rooms. What is everyones recommendation for connecting rooms. I have stayed before with only one room and was in Home Run building both times. I loved it back there, but don't know if there are any connecting rooms there. We will be in just a standard room.

All Buildings have some connecting rooms.

Home Run Hotel is our favorite Standard section because it has its "own" Pool and Laundry and it is one of the best themed sections in any WDW Resort and also it is close to All-Star Music.

They also just started providing Lawn Games for Guests in the "outfield" of the Grand Slam Pool.

Hello. We are coming to WDW for the first time in september. We have a preferred room at DASSR and we would like to have our room as close to the buses as possible. Any idea of which room to request? Also, we wont get our Magic Bnds until the checking. Can we make the online checking and then get to the front desk to get the bands? Thank you!
 
Stayed preferred in Surfs Up building 1 last fall. All preferred rooms are in Surfs Up buildings 1 & 6 or Touchdown buildings 7 & 10 & all are extremely convenient to the main pool, lobby, food court & buses. If the busses are your priority, I'd say Touchdown building 10 would be your best bet, but any preferred room is great for that. Don't know about the magicbands day of sitch, sorry. Have a wonderful trip. We LOVED ASSp !

Edited to add: AND Sports is first on & first off the buses if they share, too!

Request "Touchdown!/Building 10/side opposite the Football Field".

Some of the rooms there are just seconds from the Bus Stops.:)



These are the 2 best rooms.

I hadn't realised that you could put in a room request from when you book your resort, for some reason I thought it was at the 60 day mark you could choose, so Touchdown and Surf's Up weren't available (which was our preference) :guilty: so have put Center Court. Hopefully it won't be too much of a trek to the food court...

Did you book a Preferred room? Because you will be in either Surfs Up or Touchdown if you booked Preferred. If you booked Standard, then neither of those would be available to you. & fear not, Sports has a nice small footprint & a great layout, so you shouldn't have a long trek at all regardless !
 
I like the tennis section (I forget what's it's called). It isn't a preferred section, but it's pretty close to the main building and pool. There's a wing on the back of each building that extends back into a wooded area and is very quiet and peaceful.
 
How many laundry areas are there and where are they? We are looking at 14 nights in Oct 2020 and we like to take 1weeks worth of clothes and do laundry midweek then another load the day before travelling home (UK).

At Sports there are 2 - one by the main big pool near building 1 of Surfs Up and another by the smaller pool in the Home Run section.
