Do they post how long the wait is for single rider? How long have you waited before?

Yes, there is a wait time posted for the single riders line. I always follow the rule of thumb: the single rider line is usually half the wait of the standby line. So if standby is 60 minutes, the single riders line should be about 30 minutes.

I’m not sure that’s true. Granted, I’ve only used the single rider line once. But when I did, the posted wait for standby was 60 minutes (and I can believe, based on the number of people inside, that it was pretty accurate). I waited less than 5 minutes as a single rider.

I've found the single rider line much more efficient than that. Anywhere from a walk-on to 5-10 minutes.

The 5-10 minute single rider line is not a sure thing. In the last few years I have often seen it at 30 minutes or a little longer. I think more people are catching on to the advantage of single rider and are more than willing to skip the car design process.

The TT single rider line moves faster than the ones at RNRC and Everest because the 2x3 car design opens up 2 single rider spots to join every party of 4 or 2 parties of 2. My daughters and I always use single rider at TT and two of us often end up front and back in the same car.

If the single rider line isn’t out the door it should be a reasonable wait.

We have used single rider every trip. NEVER use FP as single rider is so efficient. Honestly, if the stand by says 60 id expect maybe a 15 min wait. It goes very fast. I mean i honestly don't know why anyone gets a FP for it. We hardly even ever get split up, but when we do...its just one car difference.
We go in May..early May, which is an incredibly great time to go...crowds are VERY low. So, I'm sure thats a difference in our opinions.

Yes our family does it every time. Always a 10-15 at most wait.
Of course..we could get split up.....but usually don't.

I've rarely waited more than about 10 minutes in the single rider line, no matter what the sign says.

Just last Monday one of my daughters and I walked over to Epcot from the Boardwalk to spend a little time before getting a Cruise Line bus. We went to Frozen Ever After first and then went to TT, arriving at about 9:30. The single rider line came out to the door and the sign said 30 minutes. We waited about 25, so it does happen. Maybe the ride was slow to open and the line built up quickly.

We’ve had very good experiences with the single rider line too, and often walked right on the ride with a posted wait of 20 minutes. But, if the line comes out to the door you should be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes.

Single rider is why our Epcot rope drop approach is always to go to Sorain first and then to Test Track.

Wow great info, thanks! We'll give it a go if the line is not out the door. We don't want to waste a FP on it. We'd be doing rider swap, so not riding together or hoping to ride together. I think we will chance each taking turns in single rider. Thanks!

I did TT in SR at the beginning of March and I think I waited around 30 minutes. There were a ton of groups so I think people have caught on.

We did single rider Friday 3/29 and waited about 25-30 minutes. The single rider line was to just inside the door of the ride. The standby time was 90 minutes so 30 min wait wasn't that bad to us.

Yes there is a posted wait time. Last week when we rode it was 40 min but it ended up being more like 30. I think standby was 80 min. It was my husband, son and myself. Me and my son ended up in the same car and my husband on the one behind us.

We do single rider for TT if we FP Soarin'. In most cases, it's like a 5-10 minute wait even if stand by is over an hour. We are a family of 4, and in many cases, at least 2 of us have been seated together anyway. LOVE single rider, lol.

I think I will do this in lieu of a FP. I've done the car design segments many times anyway and I would like to ride this at night. DH also refuses to ride it again so this is perfect for me and saves a T1 FP. I've always been hesitant about doing it but after riding SDD solo, I'm onboard.

It helps TT is a row of 3. A lot more even parties than odd, so SR moves very quick compared to others

And if you want to do the car design, there are stations in the ride exit area. There is also a quick version that you will pass in the SR line where you basically just pick from a few pre-made ones so at least you can have a car on the board.

Remember even though others report they get in cars with family members in single rider line you can be split up. My son and I always have been. On person tried to prevent him from getting in car CM assigned him to, the guys wife told him my son was told to get in.
