Which rides to do first at AK?

We plan to head straight to Navi but are unsure of the order for the others. Our first FP is for FOP at 9:25 am on a day that AK opens at 8:00 for emh. I plan on using that FP towards the end of the window unless told otherwise, lol. I would like to plan for the following: Navi, Dino, Everest, TTBAB and possibly the safari before 10:25. We have Everest and safari fast passes so not too concerned but would love to do them twice if comfortable.

That might be a bit much to do before 10:25.

General comments - ITTBAB can be watched almost any time and you can easily get a 4th/5th/6th FP+ for it , so I wouldn't focus on doing that before 10:25. I save this for the heat of day when I want to sit for a few minutes and cool off. For a short power nap, the Nemo show can't be beat.

If you really want to do Safari twice this is what I would do

Navi at 8AM open
straight to Safari
Everest (could probably ride this 2 or 3 times with little to no wait)
Dino. (probably a 20 min wait by now)

Depending on time you might be able to squeeze in ITTBAB on the walk back to Pandora, maybe not. Depends on how busy it is.

Now if you don't need to ride Safari twice,

Navi
Dino
Everest
ITTBAB

probably some time to spare before 10:25 AM.

Safari complicates things because it queues up really quickly in the morning from the initial rush, and it's a longer ride so there a huge spike in the first few hours of park opening, and then things calm down a little.

It also depends on how busy the park is going to be. The huge rush will be towards FOP of course, so avoiding that mess is the right way to go. The first option is a lot of walking as well. I mapped it out, and the outer circle route is almost 1.75 miles of walking from the front gate, until you get back for the FOP FP+.

Personally I hit AK when it opens hard and head right. Dino, Everest a couple times. FP+ Safari, Dole Whip, Lion King Show, FP+ FOP, maybe hit ITTBAB on the way out. I don't bother with Navi or Kali usually. If we're going to take it slower and spend all day at AK the plans change and we mix in the shows.

Funny you mention EE & dino twice if possible when the real push is for FOP twice. You mention EMH, but not whether you're able to use it or not. So, I'm going to assume yes in my response.

I would arrive at security check point at 7, you'll have to scan in again for EMH (around 7:15), you'll probably be held on sidewalk til 7:25 ish, you'll be walking off FOP by 8:10 ish, then go stand in line for navi, when you get off, ride FOP again with your FP (try all morning to modify that FP up to 9am).

Once tapped in for your 2nd FOP ride w/FP, move up a Safari FP as much as possible to go straight there after FOP.

Once tapped in at Safari, move EE FP up as close as possible so you can go straight there next. For 1 of your 2 rides, use your FP, for the other use single rider line. Once tapped in to your 3rd FP of the day at EE, start your search for your 2nd safari FP, grab anytime you see & modify over & over til you get an earlier time.

Ride standby dino line, then either safari FP or ITTBAB, or reverse these last 2 ( I like to do ITTBAB when I'm walking out for the day since its near entrance).

This plan will have you exiting near noon, but its FOP you want twice, not the others.

TTBAB can be seen anytime with very little line. I would not put it in the first few hours.
For RD with 8 am EMH, be at the turnstiles by 7.
If you want to do FoP twice, I would do FoP at RD, otherwise, I would do Navi at RD (most of the crowd is headed to FoP) Head to EE. Ride twice, should be very little line yet (should be done by 8:30).
Then head to Safari (off by 9:15). Then I would go back to Dinosaur if you have time (should have plenty of time). Then TTBAB if you have time before your FoP FP.
This has more backtracking in it. I put Dinosaur and TTBAB last as they don't usually have the lines that the other rides do.

Thanks everyone. We will be using the emh hour but our arrival at AK wont be until 7:15-7:30. I know we will be at the back of the pack heading into Pandora but at least we're going to Navi. I would skip this altogether but we have 3 people who have never done it. As far as riding FOP twice, we just don't want to invest that much time, we have fastpasses for our second AK day later in the week. I needed some advice mostly for the EE, Dino, Safari order. Thank you.

We usually do a PPO breakfast at Tusker House and afterwards go straight to Kilimanjaro. Longest we have ever waited was about 15 minutes. I try to schedule FoP for later in the day because when the park opens it seems that 90% of the people head there. We go everywhere else.

Similar FPs to what we had. What we did is headed to EE at rope drop and rode it five times. Then we headed over to FOP for our FP around 10am. After that we had our FP for Safari and then back to EE for our last FP. My kids are coaster junkies so they didn't even want to do Navi. I think it worked out. I considered doing FOP at rope drop and although riding it twice would have been great the kids appreciated riding EE six times more :)

My vote would be to go straight to Kali River Rapids. It would be an epic start to the day. Especially if you are in the "chosen seat."

Uh....not me! I save Kali River for the LAST ride of the day. All character greets and rides are done BEFORE Kali! It hasn't happened yet, but I'm waiting for the time I get SUPER wet on that ride. So far it's been minor and I've dried off rather quickly. But watch....the day I do Kali first will be the day I get SOAKED and won't have a change of clothes with me! :rotfl2:
