Where to get Gingerbread House tickets?

Does the Navigator that they give you upon boarding tell where to get the tickets for the gingerbread house? I've seen mention of Guest Services desk and Port Adventures desk. I hate to wait in line at one place only to find out I had been waiting in the wrong line.

Unfortunately, I think it depends on the cruise members working that day because when I did the Christmas cruise two years ago I went to the Guest Service desk to get the tickets but then was sent up to the Port Adventures desk to get my tickets (only to find out later that the customer service desk ended up helping people get tickets as the morning went on) and you get to pick the day and time to do the gingerbread decorating did not show up on the Navigator when we sailed but check just in case (they will give you tickets like you get when you do the character breakfast or the meet and greets).
Do it as soon as you get on board as it fills up quickly!!!!
Have Fun

Do check the Navigator in case Gingerbread House building is listed.

If it is not, in my experience, the best place to go for ticketed events on embarkation day is the Port Adventures desk. That line tends to be shorter than the one at guest services.

Just booked a last minute cruise on the Wonder Nov 23. Due to last minute booking, we have a very late on board time, of course. What are the chances some gingerbread house tickets will actually still be available?

How late is late? As long as the Wonder is not delayed by fog, general boarding will probably begin about 12:30 or so. The nice thing about the gingerbread houses is that no one can book ahead of time. Head to the Port Adventures desk upon boarding to check on tickets.

The time you selected online is your Port Arrival Time -- not your boarding time. Once you arrive at the terminal, you will check-in, and during that process they will give you a "boarding number." However, by early afternoon they should be on "opening boarding" which means you can board as soon as you are ready. The PATs are mostly necessary for controlling for crowds in the terminal before boarding actually begins. With a PAT of 2:30-3:00, barring a huge delay in boarding there should be no problem arriving early.

Enjoy your cruise!

Just FYI I did see recent posts on social media that a few people have been on Merrytime cruises this month and they have changed gingerbread house decorating to gingerbread cookie decorating instead.

I know some may be disappointed by this. But, perhaps this makes it easier for Disney to have an activity that more guests can do. Perhaps they can just list it in the Navigator instead of guests having to get a ticket.

I also wonder how many of the houses ended up getting tossed out at the end of the cruise as they could not be taken off the ship.

I suspect this may be a large part of it. They likely got tired of arguing with people who wanted to take it off and did not understand that they could not.

Bummer, but makes sense that’d they’d likely be able to accommodate more guests.

I can confirm this. I just did the first Merrytime cruise on the Dream this past weekend and there was no gingerbread house decorating. Instead, there was a listing in the Navigator for an activity at Animator's Palate. I forget what the activity was called, but it did list it as having limited availability. There was only one time listed which was around 1:30 p.m. on our Nassau day.

Last Nov cruise we hoped to do the gingerbread house and it was filled. Was looking forward to it this December cruise. So disappointing.

I am booked on the wonder then too! Hoping to get the gingerbread house activity too. Glad this was posted since I know where to go once we are on board.

My DH and I are doing the first merrytime cruise next year. Any advice you can give me of things to make sure we do. It will be our second cruise. We did the Dream back in August 2014. thanks.
