Priceline Express Deals

I'm not seeing any Disney resorts for our upcoming stay from 10/30-11/4. 2 adults, 1 child so we would need at least 2 queen beds too.

This is a really tough weekend to get since it's a runDisney weekend. While I have a discounted room reserved already (and that was tough to get too!), I have only been able to get one night of my trip through PL. Nothing else from the weekend has come up on multiple searches of different date combos.

Looks like 10/30-11/2 available on Priceline for $89 a night (most likely CSR) but weekend nothing.

When you do these, does it matter how many people are in your party? We’re a family of five and most basic rooms are set for four so this always makes me nervous.

We’d be coming down for a separately ticketed DAH event if that makes any difference or not.

Yes, it matters, since Priceline and Hotwire guarantee sleeping arrangements for 2 only. I, personally, wouldn't take a chance on 5. There are so few Disney resorts that accommodate 5, and even fewer that show up on these sites.

We’re making a quick weekend trip for 11/10-11/12. I'm not seeing any Disney resorts yet. Am I too early?

Did you book a hotel already and are just looking for a better deal?

No hotel yet and totally not our way of doing things. Flights were cheap and we have APs. I haven't played with PL or HW for WDW in years. I'm wait listed with DVC too. Hoping for some luck right now.

I actually reserved a room on Priceline for 5 at the YC (which can hold five- but not always) and went back to chat with the Priceline rep about it. She actually told me to cancel it!

Also, Priceline doesn't charge you for each person over 2 so when you get to the resort you will owe more. For three additional people at the YC, that was an additional $120 per day.

So it sounds like this is definitely not the way to go for five of us

I don't know. Others (I think on the YC or BWI thread) have said that in practice, you do get the room you want. But for us, coming at a very busy time of the year, I just didn't want to risk it. Especially once I figured out that in the end, Priceline wasn't saving me much at all.

Which resort is it for? Does that resort have rooms for five? The one I booked did, it was the YC, I knew they at least had rooms of that type. If you go to WDW website and can't find rooms for 5 that match the Priceline description, I'd definitely pass. If you can't figure out which resort it is, I'd pass.

You have to know the TOTAL cost and WHICH ROOM TYPE for sure, to avoid surprises with a bigger party.

I'm looking at 12/11-12/14, $167/nt 4 star bonnet creek hotel on priceline exp deal, any guesses what this might be? I can't tell without the descriptions. There is no resort fee listed but no airport shuttle either...AKL maybe?
