Very loud neighbors...Help!

What do I do?

It's 2:40 am and I'm at All Star Movies. The room next door to me is filled with, from the sounds of it, about 10 Brazilian teens (there's a tour group or more in this section). They're laughing, clapping, yelping, slamming their door...just being kids really. And boy, they sound like their having a fabulous time. But they've also kept me awake all night and we're getting up for rope drop at 6. I am not sure what to do here. They don't seem to be doing anything terribly wrong, but they're loud enough that they're keeping me awake. Do I request to be moved in the morning? Can I ask to switch hotels and pay the difference if there's availability? I cannot deal with this for the rest of our stay. This is our first night.

Call the front desk and they will send someone out to talk to them. You can ask in the morning to be moved to another room, you may also ask to be moved to another resort. I have been asked to pay the difference but also told once before there was no charge. Good luck.

"Kid's being kids" does not mean they're allowed to be disrespectful and disruptive. It is not reasonable for you, as a paying guest, to have to put up with excessive noise in the middle of the night. Definitely report the issue immediately so that security or management can talk to them. Also, don't hesitate to ask to switch to a different room or resort.

Go to the front desk and let them know. The front desk line on the phone is actually a call center.

I would call to have room or hotel changed.

I spoke to the front desk. They're giving me a room at music that they gurantee to be quiet. Thanks all.

We had very loud neighbors once. I went to the front desk and asked what my options were. I did ask how much longer they were scheduled to be there and was informed they were checking out the next day. They sent someone up to talk to them about keeping it down, and thankfully that was the end of it.

If they will be there after tomorrow, I would definitely need this addressed. One poor night of sleep is bad enough. More than that could really impact a trip. I would be up early ready to move rooms if they're going to be there more nights.

We had this problem at AKL last month. A group of loud/obnoxious, obviously drunk adults slamming their sliding glass door, cursing, telling super dirty jokes. We weren't going to say anything, but when a family on the balcony below us went inside because of them we decided to just mention it to the front desk as we left for the evening. I don't know what happened, but we didn't hear them again.

They were speaking Portuguese and a couple we're wearing Brazilian flags on their backpacks.
