Ultimate Disney Fall Into Magic Package - Sept. 3-8

I called yesterday and was able to change my water view to standard and saved $400!

We are so excited about this package. I’m dying to know how many people purchased it.

Surely with two hours we will be able to ride several times.

Now trying to decide if we want to add QS dining plan!!

We added the regular dining plan to ours. We'll wind up splitting up our QS meals to cover two meals a day and fill in with snacks as needed. And we have 3 dinners planned for our TS credits (2 signature and one regular). If it was just DH and I, we probably would have gone with the QS dining plan, but DD2 needs some sit down time to decompress, so those TS meals come in handy, lol.

Bummed I didn’t know about this promo earlier. All standard rooms at CBR are taken and the cheapest package for 2 at Coronado is $2200. Would love to grab what another person on the forum posted - $1800 at CBR. I could justify it for that price. Where the heck did Disney come up with $149 pp in their example? I’m just as confused as everyone else on that ha ha

Me too! Would love to save almost $400!!! I took a courtesy hold on the reservation, deposit due tomorrow. I’ll call back today and tomorrow to see if it’s available. This Fall offer must be capacity controlled as I looked at other packages with CBR and they show standard rooms available.

We booked a standard room at CBR at the $149 rate, we have the exact scenario the advertising laid out though - 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child - works out to $149 per person per night - $596 times 5 nights = $2980 total

We just lucked out that a room was available when I called back. I see so many people put rooms "on hold" I thought it was worth a try. I too wondered the same then when I saw I could book a standard just through the website but it makes sens they would only have so many right?

I think it's like free dining. They have allocated a certain number of rooms in each category and resort. Once that selection is booked you have to bump up to another category if you want the package. Just my guess....

That only comes to about $157/night for 5 nights at a moderate. I think I'm okay with that! And since we have APs, I can just save the parkhoppers and use them towards our renewals for next year!
Did you notice the restriction on the tickets?

Fall Into Magic FAQ's

Are theme park tickets included in my package?

Yes. Your package includes a 4-day Magic Your Way ticket. Tickets expire 14 days from first use and first use must be by December 31, 2019. Tickets are required to enter the park.

Thanks for pointing that out! Thankfully 12/31/18 is within my AP renewal window so hopefully it can be applied to my AP for next year. I will be pretty sad if it can't. But it would also be my fault for not reading the "fine print".

I ran across another thread on the Theme Park forum and @Robo reminded me of the All About Tickets & Upgrades by @Robo. Here is current good news for you:

Post 2: ( after the MagicBand Images ) see text in Bold below...

At this time, if never used, all new MYW tickets have an expiration date.
The date of this expiration will be shown when the ticket purchased.
Tickets currently being sold will expire if not first-used on or before Dec. 31, 2019.
However, if this ticket is never used by a guest and allowed to expire,
the purchase price of the ticket is not "lost" to the guest.

The unused and expired ticket can be turned in at WDW and its original purchase price can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket.

Thanks Dave!

So do you think we'll get our tickets to MNSSHP in the mail or will they be at the front desk with the rest of the packet? This is a surprise trip for the kids so I'm doing everything on the down low!

We're planning to head straight to the parks on Monday and use one of our park hopper passes that day since we don't really need it on MNSSHP day (we'll just relax that day and go the party at 4). Do we need to go to the hotel first before the parks? I already did online check in. I know we'll need to go to the front desk eventually to pick up our credentials, but I didn't want to have to make an extra stop that morning before heading to the parks if it's not necessary.

We are changing our reservations to get this package today.
We were already booked at POFQ for these exact dates but will switch resorts for this!
This is our 25th wedding anniversary trip. We stayed at POFQ on our honeymoon but will give up that nostalgia and stay at Coronado Springs this time. We stayed there on our 10th anniversary so we will still have some nostalgia at that resort
❤️

As far as I know, you should be able to go straight to the park and use your Magic Band to get in.
