NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 2: We're HERE! (continued)

Ok so we changed our clothes and made the short drive over to the Grand Floridian Resort for dinner. We were seated quickly and enjoyed another wonderful meal here. I think I got some kind of fish (again) and I think DH got scallops which he proclaimed the best EVER. Despite being full, several of us still had to get dessert because this one in particular is awesome:

upload_2018-4-13_9-14-16.jpeg

I devoured every bit of it. My oldest son got this, which he also enjoyed:

upload_2018-4-13_9-14-40.jpeg

You could have rolled us right out of there afterwards. We were so stuffed. We did pause a bit to check out all of the hand-carved totally edible Easter eggs in the lobby though. These are sooooo amazing. This was in particular...yes that's all chocolate and sugar, even the flag:

upload_2018-4-13_9-15-58.jpeg

Others were good also though:

upload_2018-4-13_9-16-22.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-16-28.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-16-36.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-16-43.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-16-51.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-17-1.jpegupload_2018-4-13_9-17-8.jpeg

It was about 7:30pm as we left the resort. We drove back to Shades of Green. I think we decided to make it a somewhat early night, since we had plans to get up EXTRA early Friday morning to hit the park. We had an 8am Marceline to MK tour scheduled for all of us, so we wanted to be out the door between 6:30am and 7am since the MK opened at 7am. I thought perhaps we'd arrive close to park opening and get in ONE ride before our tour. Did that happen? Wait and see! :)

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 3: A 3-hour tour

We were up bright and early for our first (of two) full day of fun. Our vacation was coming to an end pretty quickly.

Since it was too early for us to get real food at Shades of Green, we made plans to hopefully grab something at the MK once we were there. We hopped the earliest bus we could from SOG to the TTC, then hopped on the monorail to the MK. It was dark while waiting for our bus, but on the monorail we got these views of sunrise:
upload_2018-4-16_13-13-51.jpegupload_2018-4-16_13-14-0.jpeg

And of course approaching the MK finally:
upload_2018-4-16_13-14-21.jpeg

The above photo was taken at 7:06am on a 7am opening day at MK, so we figured we were good to get in ONE ride before our Marceline to MK Tour began at 8am and we had to arrive there by 7:45am.

We rushed over to Space Mountain first thing...here we go at 7:17am:
upload_2018-4-16_13-15-37.jpeg

And then we arrived in the LINE to Space Mountain...here at 7:19am:
upload_2018-4-16_13-16-4.jpegupload_2018-4-16_13-16-19.jpeg

I was sure it was going to move quickly through the standby area, but honestly it really wasn't moving much at all. We waited in line a few minutes, much to the dismay of my grumbling kids, but finally decided we had to call it. I refilled my popcorn bucket...and we made plans to ride something else.

Since we were already close, that something else ended up being Buzz Lightyear. We hopped on that quickly and pretty much walked onto the ride. Once out, the next priority was some food. DS 18 wanted his favorite...a Cheshire Cat Tail so we headed there. He refused to take a photo, but DH also got one and I'm sure he'd love knowing I posted this:

upload_2018-4-16_13-20-2.jpeg

So with some time to kill, and heading towards Main Street for our tour, we stopped for some photos. Selfie first:
upload_2018-4-16_13-20-37.jpeg

Then we got a great Photopass Photographer to take these:

upload_2018-4-16_13-21-2.jpegupload_2018-4-16_13-21-11.jpeg

Next we headed over to find our tour location, which they have moved from our previous tours. We checked in and they had all kinds of names listed for us. I think there were two with my name, one with my first name almost, and maybe two of them that were correct. They printed off new nametags for the missing/incorrect people, told us to grab a headset and a bottle of water and hang out. Since we had some time, I headed over to the confectionary with the dessert from the previous day on my mind. I asked for the chocolate fudge Mickey Ears but they didn't have any in the case, the woman there checked in back and found me one though...SUCCESS. Sorry it didn't last long enough for a photo but trust me it is good!

I went back to our group and before long our tourguide arrived and we were on our way for our 3 hour tour!

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 3: A 3-hour tour (continued)

So we headed off on our tour with our group of about 10 or 12 people. I don't remember our tourguide's name but he was very nice and knowledgeable. He went through a lot of history and how certain aspects of the park paid tribute to Walt Disney, lots of little details here and there. We walked down Main Street and eventually ended up at Haunted Mansion. They actually held up the Standby queue for us as we walked through it slowly and he explained different parts of it and the people that inspired it. Eventually we got on the ride itself, with our headsets so our guide talked to us during the ride. When we exited, we took a quick break and then prepared for the fun part...going BACKSTAGE and underneath the Haunted Mansion. This was by far the coolest part of this tour. Since no photos were allowed backstage, and honestly I was too focused on the tour itself anyway, really didn't take too many photos at all. We also rode COP and had an entire room to ourselves for that one as he talked to us about the various scenes there. That would be the last ride of our 3-hour tour. The only photo I did take was inside the castle when we were looking at the mosaics:
upload_2018-4-16_13-50-17.jpeg

Plus I couldn't help noticing so many other little details:

upload_2018-4-16_13-50-42.jpeg

And a nice view of the back of the castle:

upload_2018-4-16_13-50-58.jpeg

Our tour ended and we were now really ready for some food. We know the places inside the park would most likely be crazy, so we decided to hop a monorail over to the Contempo Cafe and eat there.

Leaving Main Street:
upload_2018-4-16_13-52-21.jpeg

When we arrived, the Contempo Cafe still had their breakfast menu up (it was just before 11am) so we waited a few minutes for it to flip to the lunch menu before ordering. Since it was a Friday, the options for our meatless Friday people were limited, but they got Mac N Cheese (though they could have had cheese flatbread like I did). We enjoyed a leisurely lunch as we had plenty of time before our next plans. We had afternoon FP+s at Hollywood Studios, so that was our next stop.

We caught a bus to Studios from the Contemporary, where we noted a few more Easter Eggs in the lobby there:

upload_2018-4-16_13-55-27.jpeg

upload_2018-4-16_13-55-36.jpeg

They were not nearly as elaborate as the ones at the Grand Floridian, but still nice.

We didn't wait too terribly long for a bus, and soon we were on our way to Hollywood Studios!

So it's been a crazy busy week for me, with no signs of stopping. I thought I'd give a quick real life update on Disney planning currently.

I'm working on a Thanksgiving 2018 trip for my family. We have two rooms booked already at Saratoga Springs, a 2BR for our family of 5 and my brother and family (him, wife, 2 kids age 4 and 6) plus a studio room for my dad and his girlfriend. o_O

I really want my nephews to experience a new resort this time, as we stayed at Saratoga in November 2016. So I'm trying to move us to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a very painful process. I waitlisted us as soon as I could do that, since a 2BR wasn't available for the entire week. Now I've managed to snag a 2BR for Monday night and a 2BR for Tuesday night, but one is a Standard view and one is a Savannah view. I'm hoping to piece together the remaining nights as they become available. We'll see what happens. I can't even think about moving my dad and gf yet, because I can't find the rooms for them. However if they end up at Saratoga it's fine. They'll be okay there. I'll keep looking for a few nights for them.

So I'll continue my daily stalking if necessary. This is just for my side of the family. I haven't mentioned (maybe?) that my SIL totally invited HER family to join us as well. Then complained that she couldn't afford the tickets...or an on-site room. So I think my FIL is paying for some of that trip. He booked them and himself in an AOA Suite...there are 5 of them total (SIL, her new husband, her 13yo son, and their nanny). I think he's paying for their tickets also. Keep in mind he's retired, they both have FT jobs, live in California, obviously are paying the NANNY to go who really isn't needed there, they have season passes to DISNEYLAND and Knotts Berry Farm in CA, they just got back from a casino...anyway don't get me started on the whole thing. The fact that she invited herself and family (didn't ask if it was okay...just asked for our dates AND if we had DVC points and could put them up)...just frustrating but my FIL is a big person and he makes his own choices on spending his money.

Anyway we are looking forward to this trip before, I'll be making our ADRs in another month or so, and maybe by then I'll have some more rooms booked for us. We'll see.

A new trip to plan! Exciting!! Fingers crossed you can get the rooms you want!

Seems kinda forward of you SIL to invite herself along. Hoping it wont impact your planning too much. Do you think they are going to want to do the same meals and fastpasses? I know you have planned for a large group before, but it is a lot more work for that many people!

Would love to see puppy pics as she gets bigger - she is soooo cute!!

Have a great weekend!

After Pirates, we wandered a bit and ended up at one of the only other things with a reasonable line:
"reasonable lines" were something we didn't find much of after like, noon...........................

Everything else though was crazy, and it was now around 2pm I think.
Yup, see my previous quote lol!

And then we arrived in the LINE to Space Mountain...here at 7:19am:
I hear you my friend! Same thing on our EMH morning, it was ridiculous.

Cheshire Cat Tail
I've never had one of these but I want to try one, I always forget about them!

going BACKSTAGE and underneath the Haunted Mansion. This was by far the coolest part of this tour.
I LOVED this part, the best part in my opinion! I actually wasn't aware of.......certain things which are just so cool. Very happy we did this tour :)

We caught a bus to Studios from the Contemporary, where we noted a few more Easter Eggs in the lobby there:
We missed these, although we were only at the Contemporary once on our way through to catch the monorail. The one I saw at Yacht wasn't as nice as those at Beach and GF either, and really the ones at GF blew away all others.

Awesome about your Thanksgiving trip! Honestly as much as I love the spring and going during F&G, I think going the week of Thanksgiving is my favorite. Missed doing it last year and we'd do it in a heartbeat this year, but since Ricky will be recovered he should be playing basketball again. So we have to (happily) wait a couple years.

I do agree on the SIL invite. I have planned for large groups before because I WANTED to hang with them. That is just not the case this time, but of course I need to take my FILs feelings into account and since he'll want her included I'll try to do it for SOME things but not ALL things.

Ask and you shall receive on puppy photos:

And after yesterday's puppy playdate:

Yes yes yes on the lines...and no most of them were far from REASONABLE. It was truly insane. I can say been there, done that now...and probably never again.

I've never had one of these but I want to try one, I always forget about them!

I've not tried the Cheshire Cat Tail but they are a hit with my group. However not as good as that chocolate covered Mickey brownie thing at the confectionary. If you find one you MUST have one of those because O M G!

I LOVED this part, the best part in my opinion! I actually wasn't aware of.......certain things which are just so cool. Very happy we did this tour :)

YES YES YES on the tour...really so very cool. My FIL doesn't even want to ride the ride anymore because he knows too much! ;)

Yes definitely enjoy the spring, and Thanksgiving is just the time of year we've been the most at this point. I honestly want to do summer again. Yes I know it's hot, but I like enjoying the pool and waterpark time.

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 3: A 3-hour tour (continued)

So when we last left, we were headed out to HS via bus from the Contemporary. Looks like we arrived close to 1pm according to this photo:
upload_2018-4-24_9-38-14.jpeg

Can you see that in the distance? The towers for the new gondolas were put in place in several locations. Here is an up close view:
upload_2018-4-24_9-38-52.jpeg

Can't wait to see how these all look when done and in use...right across the parking lot??

Anyway we entered HS and it was already time for our first FP on TSM. We found the new entrance and the line wasn't bad, but of course we had FPs for it. This wasn't my greatest score:
upload_2018-4-24_9-40-11.jpeg

Anyway my DH and DS 18 nearly tied. We emerged from that ride around 1:45pm. Now what?

Our next FP was for Star Tours, but I think we had some time to kill. There wasn't much to do, so we slipped in to see the Muppets. Once that was done, it was over to Star Tours:
upload_2018-4-24_9-42-49.jpeg

I think that line was about 70 minutes or more...can't recall...but it was crazy and this was the FP entrance here. It did move well though.

Once out of this ride, we still had more time to kill until our last FP at Tower of Terror. What to do? We decided to take a load off and duck into this somewhat new place for some refreshments:
upload_2018-4-24_9-44-1.jpegupload_2018-4-24_9-44-7.jpeg

This was the Baseline Taphouse. I asked the kids if they wanted food or drink but they said they didn't, so it was a chance to just sit, dive into their electronic devices for a bit, and chill out. We took our time and enjoyed our drinks.

Once those were done, we were off to our last ride...Tower of Terror:
upload_2018-4-24_9-45-50.jpeg

And the current standby wait:
upload_2018-4-24_9-46-5.jpeg

Yep...it was long.

And here we are:
upload_2018-4-24_9-46-38.jpeg

This would conclude our time at this park, with insane ride lines and not much else to do, we decided to head back to Shades of Green.

upload_2018-4-24_9-47-28.jpeg
Bye-bye tower...around 3:45pm.

This is where the downfall to the SOG bus system comes into play. We found the bus wait area, and there were people there so it seemed like we hadn't missed it yet. However we waited for quite a while with no bus in sight. Kids were getting impatient...and finally we made the decision to walk over to the Polynesian Bus Stop and ride that one instead.

We took the bus to the Polynesian and then from there we started walking back to SOG. DH decided to call the Shady Shuttle to meet us at the end of the driveway, and since that only holds 5 people, me and youngest son walked the path back to our room. As we were walking, we turned back to see the BUS from Studios actually stop at the end of the driveway and offer a ride to those waiting...but since my family had called the Shady Shuttle they didn't get on the bus there...but another family did so.

Once back at the room, we had to decide on our dinner location. The decision was made to book at Olivia's Cafe at OKW since it would have seafood/non-meat options. We hung at the room for a little bit...actually I think the two younger kids wanted to hit the pool so we went over and hung out with them there for a little bit. It was overcast and not really hot, but they didn't care too much. After some pool time, it was back to the room and then off to dinner.

We drove over to Olivia's and while on the way my DH mentioned it seemed loud in our SUV. The kids in the 3rd row though perhaps the rear tailgate glass wasn't up all the way. NOTE: We never use this because DH noted a while ago it had issues...and we didn't care to fix them. FORESHADOWING....

DH hits the button for the glass to go up...and it slides down...and continues to slide DOWN. Clearly it has issues...of course...now that it's RAINING.

We arrive at Olivia's and try to get the glass back up with not much luck. We remove any valuables from the SUV and bring them inside to dinner with us, as we'll have to deal with the glass issue after we've had food.

I got the caesar salad there...which was HUGE. Note to anyone wanting it...totally sharable here!!! I also got the crabcake appetizer which was okay. I think we had another appetizer I can't recall. I had plenty of food, and not everyone had food. It was okay, not real compelling reason to return though based on what we ate there. Service was a bit slow too.

Once food was done, it was time to head back...but first would be a stop at a famous bit time discount store for some heavy-duty tape to get that window secured!

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 3: A 3-hour tour (continued)

Oh how I'd love a vacation with no snafus...but this would not be one of them. We sat in the parking lot of a well-known chain discount store while some of our party headed inside for some very strong duct tape. Then as part of the family sat outside and held the glass back up, DH got inside and started taping the glass in place:

upload_2018-4-24_10-1-10.jpeg

GOOD times people! My youngest son is holding the umbrella over his grandfather who is holding up the glass window while DH tapes it up total Redneck style. Yay.

It was about 7:30pm when we were done and back at the room...so what to do? My daughter, now the queen of Fastpasses, had secured all of us a ride on Space Mountain (remember we had skipped it that morning because of the crazy line) so it was decided we would hop a bus to MK and ride a few things that evening. The rain had pretty much stopped at that point. Off we went, first stop was Space Mountain:

upload_2018-4-24_10-3-56.jpegupload_2018-4-24_10-4-13.jpeg

I guess my older son decided not to join us, since I don't see him in the photos. Ah teenagers...or should I say new adults???

upload_2018-4-24_10-4-5.jpeg

My daughter secured another FP+ for us all while in line at SM...this time for Jungle Cruise. So we headed there next!

Elephants showing their trunks!

upload_2018-4-24_10-5-39.jpeg

It was now after 10pm and the rest of the group was done, even though daughter got us another FP, this time for BTMRR. The guys decided to call it quits, so it would be on the girls to enjoy the last2 hours of the park alone.

While in line at BTMRR, she got us a FP for Splash Mountain starting immediately. So we rode BTMRR and then right over to Splash next.
upload_2018-4-24_10-9-54.jpeg

While at Spash, she got FP for Peter Pan. We headed there next and while in line there, she got FPs for Winnie the Pooh. Here she is working her magic:
upload_2018-4-24_10-10-45.jpeg

While at Winnie the Pooh, she got the last FP for the Tomorrowland Speedway. When we got off the Pooh ride, I realized that 7DMT didn't have a long line at all. She did not want to miss her Speedway FP, but I assured her we could do both. So we hopped in the standby line for 7DMT which I think read 40 minutes, but was really about 20 if that.

upload_2018-4-24_10-13-24.jpeg

We rushed right off this one and over to the Speedway, where we really didn't need our FPs at this point but used them anyway. That would be our last ride of the night.

We got off the ride just before midnight, and I realized...we were close to the Tomorrowland Ice Cream place. We headed there and got dessert...I don't know if it's the norm but man did they pile on the hot fudge here:
upload_2018-4-24_10-15-1.jpeg

This was the perfect ending to the night!

We hopped a monorail back to the TTC, then the bus back to SOG that evening...feeling pretty accomplished for the day! That's the way to do Easter Break for sure!

So sorry about the car window. That must have royally sucked! Snafus on vacation...
Sorry you didn't have that great of an experience at Olivia's. Breakfast is my fav meal there. If you haven't tried it, think about giving it another shot...
Harley is soooo cute! Thanks for updating pics of her.:-)

Yeah...it wouldn't be a Disney vacation for us if we didn't have to deal with some kind of crazy unplanned event. Seriously.

I'll take breakfast into consideration in the future, though I'm really not a big breakfast person...but DH loves it.

Glad you enjoyed the Harley photos. She is a joy...and also drives us crazy with her puppy antics...but we love her.

Your daughter is the Queen of FP's. That is awesome that she got so many.

She really and truly is for sure. Clearly she has the system down now. She even figured out a loophole that I didn't mention here...because since that time I've heard it has been closed. However it allowed us to get some extra FPs a little easier that night.

I'm hoping to get the last two days updates done pretty soon. This was such a short trip really, seemingly shorter with the limited FPs that we could get but we still enjoyed ourselves.

It just makes me want a bigger trip this year...and I'm still working on a possible July 4th trip. I need to decide soon, because I can book FPs for that next week if we go. We'd most likely travel WITH the puppy, which could make things interesting. The other option would be to have the puppy fixed right before we go away, and then kennel her since she would need to be pretty immobile for a while anyway.

We haven't booked anything. We were looking at pet friendly rooms but if we don't take her that's not an issue any longer. So that is in the works.

Then the November big Thanksgiving trip...that's a constant stalking job for me. Yesterday I managed to snag THREE nights at a 2BR at BLT. We LOVE Bay Lake...so I booked it. I had to call DVC to do some rearranging, dropping those 3 nights at Saratoga Springs so I could add the BLT reservation. So right now we have 3 nights at BLT and 2 nights at Saratoga, but I'm still on a waitlist for a 2BR Savannah View room at AKL Kidani and if that comes up...then I'll drop the BLT/Saratoga Reservation in favor of 5 nights at AKL. That's just for our family and my brother's family. I just can't bother with trying to move my dad and his girlfriend as well. They may just have to stay at Saratoga Springs and that's fine.

So I'll continue stalking the DVC available rooms to see what I can get for all of us for Thanksgiving. I'm actually excited about the BLT stay but it would still be better to have all 5 nights at one location, especially with moving my brother and his group.

Great updates! Looks like you made the best of it despite the crowds. Too bad about the car window - glad you were able to give it a quick fix without disrupting your vacation too much.

Love the puppy pics! She is beautiful!!

Glad you were able to get BLT but hoping you can get AKL for the whole time. I'm sure it would make things easier, especially with the little ones.

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 4: People people PEOPLE!!!

We reached our final park day of our vacation. There was no rush to get up and out as the plans were just to hit EPCOT by park opening and we had some late morning FPs here. The plan was this:

Feeling adventurous, hit AK for the 7am EMH and try to see BABY TIGERS! Ride EE, Safari, Dinosaur & leave by 11am before heading to EPCOT. Otherwise head directly to EPCOT for 9am opening. Ride Test Track (standby/single rider), Mission: Space (standby). Walk around World Showcase, try some Flower and Garden food booths, ride Mexico boat. Around 1:30pm, head to The Seas (FP+), then Soarin (FP+), and SE on way out (FP). Back to room for pool/rest and packing up for next day checkout. Head to MK around 5pm for dinner at The Plaza, see Happily Ever After show, rides afterwards until as late as possible.

The decision was made to just hit EPCOT, so that was what we did. I want to say we were there pretty close to the 9am opening. We headed directly for Soarin' to try to ride that STANDBY. The line was OUTSIDE of the Soarin' queue already...NEVER have I seen that! It wasn't moving at all...and so we made a decision to skip it. Now what? I motioned to THE LAND, and received lots of grumbles from my kids, but there was ZERO wait and it was a ride...so we hopped aboard!

upload_2018-4-27_7-26-21.jpegupload_2018-4-27_7-26-27.jpegupload_2018-4-27_7-26-35.jpeg

Such a nice little boat ride!

Once off that one, we figured we would hit something close, so we headed over to visit our friend NEMO at The Seas.
upload_2018-4-27_7-27-16.jpeg

And walked around and looked at fish for a while. These were cool:
upload_2018-4-27_7-27-38.jpeg

Then we had some photos done:
upload_2018-4-27_7-29-6.jpegupload_2018-4-27_7-29-13.jpeg

I can't recall what we did next...but it may have been heading over to check out the single rider line for Test Track, since we had no FPs for that ride. On the way we stopped to watch these guys:

upload_2018-4-27_7-28-36.jpeg

Love the Jammitors.

The line for single rider showed 40 minutes, but it wasn't even out the door so I convinced everybody it would be no more than 20 minutes. It was pretty close to that. We ended up riding in pairs together in 3 cars:

upload_2018-4-27_7-30-11.jpegupload_2018-4-27_7-30-16.jpeg

(continued on next post)

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 4: People People PEOPLE!!

Our Test Track photo below. I will say this family of four was so kind. Seeing Noelle and I together, they offerred to let DD ride in the back and would put the dad alone. I told him it was fine, they could each sit next to their kids. We were good.

upload_2018-4-27_7-30-58.jpeg

I can't recall what we did next. It looks like we may have decided it was time to eat, and we figured we'd walk around the World Showcase and check out some of the food booths.

Pretty flowers:
upload_2018-4-27_7-33-42.jpeg

First stop was Mexico...so we decided to take a little boat ride:
upload_2018-4-27_7-34-8.jpegupload_2018-4-27_7-34-14.jpeg

Of course there is the obligatory "big hat" photo here:
upload_2018-4-27_7-34-35.jpeg

I'm sure we picked up some food along the way, and I'll admit I don't have World Showcase totally memorized, but eventually we came to the center and stopped at the American area for some food here.

upload_2018-4-27_7-35-34.jpeg

It was starting to sprinkle a little bit, so we grabbed some food and sat at one of the picnic tables here for a while. Definitely not the best weather day but it was okay.

I know we got some food at Italy next, because I recall telling my son I had heard NOTHING good about the Italy food booth...and seeing NO line should have been a sign. Yet he didn't listen, he got something there...I know he didn't enjoy it. I do recall getting myself an Italian Margarita which was good and definitely had some alcohol in it. Then the goal was to hit France next for desserts. Last time we were there we had FINALLY discovered, for the first time, the back corner of France and the bakery there but the line was so long we didn't stop. This time we would be getting in line for some goodies:

Having filled up on desserts, it was time to make our way back towards the front. We had a Soarin' FP that we planned to use. First we had a little bit of time to kill, so we stepped inside the butterfly house for a while:

NEVER say NEVERLAND Day 4: People People PEOPLE!!!

So we were making our way to Soarin, and stopping for some photos and since I LOVE Tigger I had to get this one:

This one was fabulous also:

Soon we arrived at Soarin and hopped aboard:

After a nice ride, it was now time to depart. We ducked into Mousegear quickly on the way out to do some shopping. I got myself this ears after agonizing over a few different ones:

My youngest son asked if the line for SE was short enough if we could make that our last ride on the way out. I said sure...and this was the line:

Yeah...so not happening. So many PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE! Crazy!

Time to leave:

So I think we must have headed back to our car to make the drive back to our resort. We had dinner reservations at The Plaza that night, but had some time to kill. It was about 3pm when we left EPCOT.

I think we kinda got stuff packed up back at the room, since we might have a late night and we would be checking out the next day.

We probably walked over to the Polynesian to hop the monorail to MK that evening. We headed directly to the Plaza for our 6pm dinner reservation. We arrived a little early, and the hostess warned us they were running about 30 minutes behind. She gave us a pager and said if we were still waiting at 30 minutes, they would happily bring us soda, juice or fruit while waiting. Wow...nice.

We grabbed a nearby table to just relax for a bit.

However we may have been there 10 minutes or so when the buzzer went off and our table was ready...so much for running behind! It was time for food!
