Suggestion excursions for Tortola

We are a party of 4 adults. Our oldest daughter has some balance issues so hiking on semi rough terrain isn't really enjoyable for her. Would the Tortola Hike and Beach excursion be too much? Is it pretty flat? Two of us do not snorkel.

I am really torn on what to schedule that has some activity but not more than some members of our party will enjoy.

I would research the current status of various attractions. Disney seems to be allowing bookings for things likely to be cancelled later.

Our date to book isn't until March 18th. Do I need to call to find out what is actually going to be bookable?

You can go over to DCL webpage and look for the Tortola excursions and read about each one to see what fits for your family.

A bunch of them listed are no longer going to be offered, though.

TT46 is still listed on the general site, the Canopy Zipline. The Zipline was destroyed in the hurricane.

TT16, the North Shore & Pusser's Landing? Pusser's was badly damaged in the hurricane and is nowhere near opening (pix: http://pussers.com/2017/10/01/update-hurricane-irma/)

The Dolphin stuff is listed, but the dolphin place is still closed.

So keep a very open mind as you look at the general list. Disney have clearly not updated them, as they've not cleared their ships to return to Tortola. And what's out there is pretty much guaranteed to have a few that simply will not be offered anytime this year.

I suggest even after you book your excursions, you keep checking to see if any more have been added. We're cruising to St. Maarten in March. We booked our excursions first part of Dec. Disney added more excursions several days and even a couple weeks after our booking window opened. I had a list of 5 excursions we were interested in doing. When it was time to book them, none of them were listed. After a couple of weeks one of them was added back as a choice.

I wouldn't mind going back to St Maarten at all. Would rather go there if the excursions in Tortola are significantly reduced. I would hate to stay on the ship instead of getting off. I want to help the economy there but I am really wondering now it is will be worth it for us. Who knows - we may not go there at all. We sail in June

We are supposed to sail to Tortola at the end of April. We have the scuba excursion booked for my husband and nothing for myself, young kids and parents. Our plan with Tortola is to just see what happens. If moved to St. Maarten hopefully there is a scuba excursion for my husband.

Sorry to hijack - but for those that did the Baths - do you remember if they do them in the morning or afternoon? I want to do them in the morning and thinking of doing them with a non DCL company but given the destruction I'd prefer to just go with DCL

Thank you for posting this about Pusser's because I had heard Soper's Hole got hit really bad but had not seen any photos until now, here was us at the Pusser's landing at the beautiful Soper's Hole marina in 2016:

Here it is now after Irma, oh my goodness this photo makes me emotional :( :( :(

Yeah. They have not posted about any rebuild plans, but I just don't feel like they're going to be doing that excursion the same way for a good while.

Based on reports from those who have been able to do online registration, these excursions show as bookable. I'm concerned they haven't vetted the list to what is bookable....going to be some notices of excursions cancelled at some point. Possibly late in the game for some.

I feel bad saying this because I truly do want the island and it's people to fully recover and thrive - but I am hoping we go to St. Maarten. We were there on our last cruise and would love to do it again.

Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but where can we get current status on some of these excursions? I've tried a few different searches online but can't seem to find up to date info.
