Help with Dodger Stadium

I need some clarification we are taking the hop on hop of LA bus to 957 N broadway st. From there apple maps says it is a 1.2 mile walk to get to Dodger Stadium for a tour. The maps have us going over the 110 highway. The location of the walk across is Yale Street near Bernard Street. Is this a road going across the highway that is walkable, a pedestrian bridge or are we trying to cross the highway itself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Bringing it up on Google maps, there are walkways to get there. You wouldn't be able to cross the actual freeway. But there is either an over or under crossing in the pic I looked at.

I believe that pedestrian access is limited to Gate A, which is Stadium Way and the street that is now Vin Scully Ave. I know that prior to the gates opening for a game there is only 1 vehicle entrance open, and I'm pretty sure they route pedestrians to the same gate.

Thank you for that info SMD. We mapped our walk and it had us going to gate E. I found a map on where Gate A was so now we know. As anybody taken the Dodger Stadium tour and remember was that the gate that was used? The map of the stadium was helpful they even showed where Uber is so when we went to go back to the Chinese theatre to continue our route on the hop on hop off bus tour for the afternoon we now know the gate area to tell uber. This map I found had a pedestrian bridge that goes to chinatown metro so I think that is where we are coming out at. Thanks everyone this is putting us at ease.

Hi fellow Dodger fan! I was just curious myself, as I used to go to Dodger stadium a lot but haven't been in several years. I just found this on the Dodgers website:

"Dodger Stadium is located at 1000 Vin Scully Avenue in Los Angeles, California.

Tour guests must enter through the Sunset Gate (Gate A), which is located at the intersection Vin Scully Ave. and Stadium Way. Tour guests should park in Lot P and meet just outside the Top of the Park Store on the Top Deck level adjacent to Lot P."

Hope this helps. and have fun!

Yes, only the main gate is open when there's no event going on. I would just grab an Uber from the bus stop up to the stadium, there is never more than 5 min wait in LA and it will be an uphill walk that could be brutal if you're going during the summer.
