If YOU could work at Disney...

VIP tour guide
Make up artist
Undercover security (because I'm a big people watcher)
Character handler
HM or JC CM

Well my husband and I talk regularly about moving down and working at Disney.
My husband wants to be the guy the sits in the booth at IASM and wave at people on the boats as they start the ride.
I on the other hand, what to be in a position to have interaction with the guest, I want to make some magic for the families.. perferable in a park!!

Character handler would be great- you're not stuck in the hot costume but you still get to see all the fun.

Truthfully, I rather attend the park than work at it. If I did work there, it would have to be something very simple. Is there a job just for giving out stickers? LOL!

If I could work at Disney, it would have to be as far from the parks as possible, because of the fear of the loss of some of the magic.

We havt talked about this too we live in Canada hubby was looking into something with Accounting Me I would love to be semstress making princess dresses :)

I hope to be a bathroom custodian someday at Disney!

But seriously..

I'm going to be that happy old dude sitting in front of the stage at playhouse Disney.. already have my seat picked out!!!

The wife will have to do something behind the scenes.. she can be Grumpy at times LOL.

I would be valet at the BCV. You work hard for it but you can make a lot of money if you do it right.

Cute thread! I think I would be Mickey Mouse! I'm just the right height for it and I get to be treated like a celeb all day! :thumbsup2

I would love to be a CM at the TOT! Or walking around cleaning up the grounds as I would be able to socialize and see everyone being as happy as Disney makes me. :woohoo:

Gosh, so many fun things to do at Disney, I don't know what I would want to do...

Well the first thing I'd like to do is out....a CM at Mitsukoshi Department store, I love that store, love that pavilion, love the food at that pavilion :lovestruc I really like their culture, but I'm American (of Irish and Italian decent lol) so this would not work.

So maybe a CM at the American Adventure Pavilion so I could go to all the countries on breaks...I love world showcase. I'd be the kidcot person at the American Adventure...perfect :) Then I could go to Teppan Edo for dinner, Norway for dessert, and Italy for some wine when I am done lol.

Or a greeter in Epcot or MK

Or...the front desk at the Poly.

Or...I know they must have these people who just walk around and talk to you and put on a smile on your face. DD was having a bad day and was crying about something and a CM came up to her and gave her a whole bunch of nice Disney stickers...can I have that job?

Hmm, I think I'd like to work in reservations. I'd love to help families plan their vacations and help welcome to them to the World for the first time or their five hundred and fourty sixth. To get them the exact resorts they want, to help them find the best time to visit, to introduce them to all the wonders that Disney has available.. yeah.. that would be my dream...

A dream is a wish your heart makes.....

- Loss
:littleangel:

Interesting thread... :thumbsup2 Hard to narrow it down to 1 thing though.

Imagineer
Work in the greenhouses in the Land Pavillion
Monorail driver
Character handler

Edit: Forgot to mention pyrotechnics... for any of the shows.

I'd be a speculative analyst. This way I can say "I think we are losing some of night time revenue. We better bring back Pleasure Island and the clubs."

Other than that, Santa Claus in DTD

I'd probably either:

-Work the Tech stuff at Fantasmic because I do that type of stuff for work anyway, I might as well watch my favorite Disney show while doing it!

-Or work on the Great Movie Ride. I love performing and that ride can be great or terrible depending on the cast member. I think I could make it really fun!

I would be valet at the BCV. You work hard for it but you can make a lot of money if you do it right.

Just remember that the Valets are not disney owned so you wouldn't get quite as many perks as the disney CMs!

There are so many cool jobs at WDW that it's hard to narrow down....

My first pick would of course be as an imagineer. It's one thing to be a part of the magic, but I want to be the one to create that magic.

2. Drummer for Off-Kilter.
3. Brew Master at Big River Grille & Brewing Works
4. Grillmaster at Ohana.
5. Driving Instructor at the Richard Petty Experience @ WDW Speedway.
6. DVC Sales rep.

and finally....

I want to be the guy at the other end of the zipline who catches Tinkerbell.....
