Come on AP Rates!!!

Ok, I'll wait another week if I have to. LOL Come on, release the next batch of rates!!! :)

The passholder site is undergoing some sort of maintainence tonight. I tried to check room plus dining and it said maintainence was being performed.

The reservations call center was also doing some system work this afternoon when I called (Wednesday). They called it "System Enhancements" and couldn't check their computers when I called....told me to all back an hour later!

although have a ressi at All Star sports with FD for Oct. 30-Nov. 6...on my brothers PIN as part of a grand gathering reservation and i must say, for 3 of us..2 adults and 1 child, i think we may foregoing the AP...i also already have the dolphin booked at 149 with the recipie club code so that was our fall back and although we wanted to stay at AKL, as each day passes, it gets harder and harder even paying the 169 that we "might" get at AKL for room only....
 
I read a rumor somewhere that the AP rate would be released on August 3rd. That would make it a tuesday though (I think, no calendar in front of me and I can't count it out in my head).

I also got that e-mail and grabbed for phone while I opened. I was so disappointed I almost cried. I really need that AP discount for this years Christmas trip. I really need that trip.

There are just all kinds of rumors out there, and I don't see how anyone knows. When I called yesterday an agent said they expect them on August 15, but I clarified again I was looking for AP rates (it was hard to get her to listen to all my details since I had to keep specifying AP), and then the agent said "well, maybe those will come out sooner". Also, I was told over two weeks ago that AP rates should be out last week or this week. Of course, that wasn't true either. The reservations center really does not have the information and I don't think they're told until the last minute. Who knows!!

BTW, last year was the first year in a long time that Fall / Holiday AP rates came out so early, in July.

Ok, maybe not so patiently...have not been AP holders since 2004/2005, so we cannot wait. We have always stayed at value resorts except for our honeymoon in 1994, and last year when the FL resident rates came out, we made that big step to moderates, CBR to be exact. Well, our DD4 has decided that she wants to stay at CBR this year, so we booked it and now hope that the AP rate will help us out tremendously. It feels good to be an AP holder again...lets hope the discounts make it even better!
