I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

I have this offer on my Amex Gold.
If I buy a $500 VGC will it credit the $30 or just the $10?

DETAILS

Get a $10 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $150 in one or more purchases in-store or online at a U.S. supermarket by 10/6/2023. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $30). See terms.

Any data points?
Getting back to this. I bought $500 VGC + $4.99 fee and some other groceries at Walmart Neighborhood Market.
I received the $30 credit for the one transaction.

I needed to buy a larger VGC to pay for our electric bill.
Paid $505 for the VGC + $1.85 for using a debit card to pay my bill. Net savings of $23 + 2,020 MRs.

Woohoo! Got biz gold 150k for $10k spend. Googled "business gold" for a public link and then tried every which way. Kept getting 70k, but then on a different computer and internet got 100k, 110k, and 125k. Almost went for the 125k, but decided to start fresh by closing the windows and opening a new one, then got the 150k! Guess that was risky though, it could have gone down.

Sorry if this has been brought up already, but I just read that Amex changed it's T&C on the gold and that you can't earn a SUB if you've already earned a SUB on the platinum. Is this true? Ugh.

Yes, and it applies to having had the card (not tied to the SUB). But it's the "may not" language, so the lifetime language is not as clear cut as before. If you can get past the pop-up you can get the SUB.

I searched points.me on a random date in June and looks like all the options have high taxes. Ugh. Lowest points option is AA for 57.5k with transfer in LHR (taxes $376.00 -- also works with Alaska miles), then Turkish Air with a stop in Istanbul for 107k pts pp (taxes $425.00), AC for 133.4k pts with 2 stops (taxes $129). I have found many times that the airlines don't have the availability that points.me shows, so always check airline websites before transferring points. It might be better to position yourself in a city in Europe with more options (such as Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, etc.).
Do you think that I should book IAH>CDG>IAH and then book CDG>ATH>CDG on a seperate itinerary? I don't think we can get from Paris to Greece via train or any other way so I guess this is the only way?

Nice! DH got it in August. Using my support link, the highest we could get to appear was 130K. But with the referral at least that was 145K (I wish I still had the elevated 25K referral offer!).

Didn't realize this was new until now, thought I was just behind the times (again!)

Chase Freedom Flex and Unlimited have updated the bonus to include 5% back on Gas and Groceries for 12 months, capped at 60,000 UR in addition to the standard 20k UR after spending $500 in 3 months for support links.

Looking at the public offer on the Chase site, I'm not seeing the extra 5% yet.

These are not usually popular cards to use 5/24 spots on but I recall some folks taking increased interest for the extra category offers. Again FYI if you know anyone interested in the cards anyway.
Was on the Chase CC pages today and see that the public offer on the Freedoms has been updated to same one from support now.

Thanks for the tip. I tried every browser I have in incognito mode, phone and laptop, but highest I could pull was 100k.

Thanks- I tried this and was able to get the 130k + 15k support, but then got the pop-up.

There's DP on r/churning of getting it from many tries opening new windows. I happened to copy a Chrome link into Edge and that got 150k instead of 125k.
Thanks for holding my hand; more questions. What kind of links are you using? Affiliate links from your amex search or straight links from amex?

First Google search, which is an Amex public link. Now showing 150k in Chrome when it didn't before. Super weird. Which goes to show that even trying the same method can give different results.

We always get pop-up with support now. I don't know why I even bother trying anymore. Have not had a successful Amex cross-support in a couple years.

OK - this amused me - a pathetic attempt by United to get me to use their credit card out of the sock drawer. Seriously - 125 bonus miles a month is supposed to be an incentive????

Register your United QuestSM Card by December 15, 2023. Your bonus earning begins the first day of the promotion month in which you register.
Each month of the promotion, make at least 5 purchases while spending $250 or more in purchases to earn 125 bonus miles per month.*
Reach your monthly spend and transaction goals all three months to receive 60 additional bonus miles for a total of 435 bonus miles.

Approved for CIP from DH's link. $6000 CL. Already met the spend on his CIP from 9/18, will meet the spend on mine in 2 weeks after receiving. Was a little nervous, my last Ink was 5/8, with a personal Bonvoy 8/16. Have to pay off a cruise by 10/31 and I think I will just use the 100,000 URs + 24,000 from the travel spend as cash back at 1%.

This is disappointing. I wanted to get a gold but I was waiting until after I earn my SW CP. I guess I will just need to keep looking for a NLL offer in the future.

But wait! There's more! 60 additional bonus miles, 60 I tell you!

I try to book 2 one-way tickets for my travels just in case something happens. Having never been to Greece, I am not sure how I'd approach the return ticket. Are you staying for a few days in Paris on your way over? Would you consider spending a few days in Istanbul on your way home? CDG isn't my fav airport, so I'd be nervous trying to connect there on my way home. I can say that I do like to keep as many of my URs and MRs as possible, so I'd look to book the least costly ticket with the most palatable itinerary.

Is this for sure--that if you get past the pop-up and get approved, you will get the SUB? I seem to recall reading here that some people on another board (Reddit maybe, but not our Reddit) were questioning that.
