I saw another post about coffee and it made me think of something.

I am going to make a very controversial post here. I don't think it will get me banned but it might make me a pariah of the DisBoards.

I do not like Joffrey's Coffee.

I miss the Nescafe.

There. I've said it. My secret is out and there it is. Please do not troll or flame me or think I have sh**** taste in coffee. But for some reason, I just liked it.

I don’t think I ever tried Nescafé at Disney, but I don’t like it. I don’t like Jeffrey’s either. I order bottled coffee delivery for my stay to avoid the Starbucks lines.

Joffrey’s tastes like crap. Nescafé was at least drinkable.

I don’t like the in-room Joffreys coffee, nor do I like the Joffreys they put out in QS for the refillable mugs, but I think the carts in the park are fine. I do often add Baileys to it, but I have had an iced latte that was good. I also like Starbucks coffee when the lines aren’t too long

Agree with @georgina, the Joffreys in room coffee pods are nothing to write home about but it's fairly decent. BUT the joffreys cart coffee, yum, the shakin jamaican cold brew, def our fave and you can get it in all sort of flavors too. I like starbucks too. For our in room coffee, I usually bring my small nespresso coffee maker with me to WDW.

Instant coffee, yuck. I include those stupid pods in the category of instant coffee too. Joffrey’s is ok; it’s less bitter than Starbucks. Not a big Starbucks fan, but the cold brew is ok if I need a caffeine/sugar rush. I still don’t understand why people like burnt beans. A mocha shouldn’t taste more bitter than unsweetened chocolate.

You're not alone.

I love Nespresso and Starbucks.

I keep trying Joffrey's when I go but I can't ever get more than 1/3 of the way into it.

Sounds like we have the same coffee tastes!

Joffreys and Starbucks are both crap. I bring my own coffee machine + coffee and make it in the room.

If I don't bring the machine, I can live without it.

I’m with Bobbi don’t like either not huge fan of Starbucks but I’ll drink it over the other two when at Parks but bring my own otherwise

Not a huge Joffrey's fan, but I really dislike Starbucks. I usually make my coffee at home, but I'll drink whatever's available when out and about, rather than have none at all.

I love coffee! Can’t live without it. But here’s my own unpopular opinion……

It all tastes the same to me. :)
I can’t tell the difference between brands. It’s all good. :drinking1
I only drink coffee with lots of cream and sugar, so it all tastes the same to me too. This is also why I don't drink it regularly, as it's basically a dessert at that point. I like coffee flavor, but not straight up coffee.

4-10 years ago Joffrey’s was usually good, sometimes really good! The last things we got there that were good were the special Skyliner Coffee that came out when Skyliner opened late 2019 and a Jameson Cream Cold Brew in early 2021. Since those we’ve tried 7-10 times and never good, some so bad we threw away after 2 sips. Very hard thing to do when having a coffee craving. That bad :(

I don’t love Starbucks but now prefer waiting in that line since at least can count on being drinkable.

We’re staying at Poly next trip. How’s the coffee at Kona Island - any recent experiences?

You shlep a coffeemaker with you on vacation? Wow. That's dedication.

I once was reading the list of accepted carry on items on the TSA website, and they mentioned an espresso machine. I wondered who in the world would be flying with a whole espresso machine and would just carry it on with them. Now, I have my answer; it's you.
