Disney Lorcana - FIRST LOOK - RISE OF THE FLOODBORN

Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn will first release at local game stores on November 17th, while the wide release, including the Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition, will follow on December 1st.

Illumineers, we’re excited to share the next set release for Disney Lorcana TCG, Rise of the Floodborn!

This set dips into the inky origins of floodborn glimmers. The six magical inks… Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel, were released in a mixed-up chaotic form, resulting in a mysterious flood which damaged the Great Illuminary. When storyborn or dreamborn glimmers encounter this mixed ink, they surge with a power that changes them, transforming them into floodborn glimmers. As the magical ink poured out of the illuminary, treasured lore went with it, including King Triton’s powerful trident.

Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn features more than 200 cards with brand-new artwork. Fan favorites like Winnie the Pooh and Tiana appear for the first time, while six additional Disney stories join the game’s lineup:

It's too soon for a new set, especially when one can't buy the first set! Not like this will fare any better. Ah, Lorcana, you could have been fun, but a botched launch plus a cottage industry of Disney merch scalpers has doomed you from the start. It honestly makes me angry to think about it!

I have zero interest in this game but that Pooh card is sick. I would absolutely buy that as a print.

They have said that it will be like every other TCG and have a set every 3 months. Though the Disney 100 special gift set is a nice surprise.

They have also said more product is coming for the first set but a small restock in October for LGS will only help a little and a large restock in q1 2024 feels too late. It's possible set 3 is out before they get the first set reprints available.

I was not able to secure anything from Ravensburger as I kept getting payment error every time at checkout but I was able to get the starter decks from an LGS day 1. Game is fun and hoping more people can experience it without feeling dejected trying to find the product.

I was able to get 2 things from the Target online drop but was focused on shop Disney and that was a mistake on my part. Besides Barnes and Nobles, I have yet to see any product at any big store around me and I've been checking most Targets and Walmart's every day to every few days on my way home from work. It is just frustrating to try so hard and never see one thing. I purchased a booster box from someone a couple weeks ago as I just assumed I was never going to find anything. I purchased a booster box from someone a couple weeks ago as I just assumed I was never going to find anything. I am 6 enchanted and 2 legendaries away from completing the set but I'm waiting for those to drop before spending anymore.

Collector's are their own worst enemy.
