I had been watching for this info as well. I did see a few reports confirming that people staying on site were able to get tickets the morning of the party yesterday!

Oh that was my nightmare last year. No matter how many people at the Grand I talked to (and however many managers they asked), they will tell you the event is sold out. Even the guy at check in last year said no. At 5am we went down to the lobby, they knew exactly why we were there and we had no problem getting tickets. It sounded like it was working exactly the same.
In 2021, I called Disney travel and the DLH multiple times in the 2 weeks leading up to our last minute trip. No one would even say that same-day tickets were ever available at the hotels.... But I had read about it on here, so I asked at check in. The front desk CM did tell me that they would have a limited number available, and she advised that I get to the lobby at 5am. We were able to get 2 tickets; I arrived at 4:45am and was 3rd family in line for tickets. Not all families got tickets that day, and the very small pool of tickets was shared between the 3 hotels. First come, first served, so hope that your CM that morning has fast fingers!
The cast member who checked us in today recommended we try the ticket booths early Sunday morning. Can't hurt to ask.
Ppl have tried from what I've read but haven't been successful at either hotels or ticket booths.I have been following this, and has anyone on this thread been able to buy tickets at the resort hotels this year? We did it successfully in 2021, but (if I have read all of the posts here correctly) no one has reported first-hand here that they were able to get them this year at the hotels (I think there was a second hand report). Someone correct me please, if needed! I hope I am incorrect (and like OP, we have tickets for this year but I am still hoping for others here to get tickets)!
This may be correct, but I haven't seen any direct evidence in this thread. Someone cited a GCH Facebook page about no tickets being available, which was light on details. Another person spoke of asking a window washer... I think at the ticket booths. Another person reported asking at 9am in the lobby. I have yet to see anybody say, I was in the lobby at 5am day of, and they confirmed no tickets were/would be available.Ppl have tried from what I've read but haven't been successful at either hotels or ticket booths.
Well if you do get any be sure to report back. This may be correct, but I haven't seen any direct evidence in this thread. Here's what I can tell you first hand: I pressed a cast member about tickets on the phone. He did some awkward verbal gymnastics when I asked if it was possible that OBB tickets might become available for future dates this year... specifically through the hotels.
There were reports that if someone in your party was missing a ticket then they might sell you one in that case. But not if no one in the party had tickets. So if the youtuber had a ticket then that might be why.I haven’t seen any first hand reports from lobbies but I did watch a YouTuber go and his girlfriend got a ticket the day of. They didn’t say how exactly but mentioned that as of 10 am that morning she didn’t have one but then she did. Still not sure how. But it was Kyle Pallo for anyone curious.
Pretty sure someone just gave them one. Whether they admit that or not is another story. But a lot of times when vloggers are like, “oh no, I don’t have a ticket,” they’re just fishing…I haven’t seen any first hand reports from lobbies but I did watch a YouTuber go and his girlfriend got a ticket the day of. Not sure if this helps but on the night of 08/31/2023, my Daughter stayed for World of Color while we were staying at VGC (RM1506 steps away from the new PPH entrance). I was able to use that exit just after the start of WOC. I texted her to use that exit after the show.Any word on if the two alternative exits from DCA are open right at close? I remember previous years they weren't allowing use of the Grand exit but that was maybe ~10 minutes after the official close of the party as the last stragglers were being rounded up and nudged towards the exits...
I am sorry, I hope your companion feels better soon and you can manage to salvage your evening.Lost about an hour of party time walking my sick companion back to hotel. Put a damper on the night and walking back now to hopefully catch the parade. Definitely shed some tears as I never wanted to attend alone and was really looking forward to seeing the parade not alone (I skipped OBB on my solo Halloween trip in 2021). Almost didn’t go back but decided I’d make the best of it. I’ll still write up a short report on how crowds have been, maybe tomorrow at the airport.
