Pricing information released regarding 2024 Disney Dining Plan

I wish they had not bundled alcoholic drinks into the dining plan. It inflates Disney's cost by a few dollars, which, in turn, inflates the daily price of the plan by $10.

While the foodie 7 year old grand niece can easily eat $30 of food a day, I'm not sure that the adults can eat $100 a day in a QS and a TS. even including a mixed drink.

Originally you got desserts with QS and 2 snacks.
2016 was before the changes - only one snack but dessert with each meal.
  • two counter-service meals per person, per night
  • one snack, per person per night
  • a refillable drink mug
The counter-service meals consist of:
  • 1 entrée or complete combo meal
  • 1 dessert
  • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

2017 was when changes began ... no desserts but increased snack to two
  • two counter-service meals per person, per night
  • two snacks per person, per night
  • a refillable drink mug
The counter-service meals consist of:
  • 1 entrée or complete combo meal
  • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

Then in 2018 was when they introduced alcoholic beverages and other drinks to plan.

AND NOW they have removed one of the snacks ....

This was back 2009-2011. They dropped to 1 snack in 2012.

I'm curious about this usage of the word "under" as well, does that mean that is the maximum possible cost for a day and the price is fluctuating? Weekends, holidays cost more? Has anyone actually been able to price anything yet?

Sorry forgot to quote @mgarbowski's post from above

I feel like this might be what's happening, but the system imploded so nobody can book/price anything right now.

I see in some other threads a few people are posting about being able to book for 2024 and some have shared their numbers with/without dining, but nobody has broken down the pricing as yet. I'm so eager to know ....

Yes, I was able to go in this morning and do a mock reservation. It’s $94.28 per day per adult for the DP and $57.01 per day/adult for the QS. The “under” must have been a typo. It is exactly these amounts, including tax. I saw reports of people putting in different dates than I have and still getting these numbers.

I find it annoying that alcohol is included. It's just an excuse to raise the price.
Wasn't alcohol always included? When we went in 2019, it was included. So like at Woody's lunchbox I got an adult lemonade instead of a soda and it was included.

From a post above, alcohol was added to the plans in 2018.

Thank you for confirming. Also.... I'm very jealous as I would love to be able to make a mock reservation

No, I went in 2018 and it included 2 snacks, we went home with a bagful!
But in 2018 you didn't get dessert with QS. From 2009-2011 you got desserts with QS meals AND 2 snacks. In 2012 they kept the desserts with QS, but dropped to 1 snack. At some point they took away the desserts, but went back up to 2 snacks. Now it's no desserts and 1 snack.

I was digging through my receipts and came across the "Special Dining Experiences"

Apparently we could have had "Private In-Room Dining" for two meal credits. I didn't know about that then but I doubt it exists today.

This was on the deluxe plan in 2010 before Le Cellier became a signature requiring 2 credits.
