Moonlight magic registration

Count for both nights stopped at right about 7000. Anybody with an original queue number less than that had a shot at least for Sept (queue for May stopped about 5800).

Anyway. Back of napkin guess: knock it down to 5000 actual registrations minus duplicate entries, and average of 4 guests per registrations that’s 20k divided over 2 events, or 10k guests per event.

That’s probably a high guess. There were probably more duplicate queue numbers so I’d guess a more realistic limit was 7.5k per event, based on when it sold out queue-wise. But still a guess.

I got down to 3100 then poof it’s sold out. I started at 12k right at 11. How is that even possible? First to have 12000 in front and this would only of res book already for the date? I guess they could have 12000 rooms but every single props on staying on site somehow got in front of me at 11am on the dot? I am just trying to understand

That sounds about right to me.

I was logged in at 11 at number 5400+.

Registered at 11:46.

I’ve played the MM lottery before and both won and lost so I feel incredibly fortunate this time.

Makes sense thanks for talking me off the ledge, still bitter tho! 😂.

Seems like a lot of people who have never had the chance to go got in, so that’s good at least.

How does it work if you are staying on resale (white card) points, but also have a blue card? Are you still emailed the link because you are staying on dvc points the night of the event?

Was right in the queue at 11:00:00, just saw that 5/11 is sold out in the queue 😞. Why did they do a combined queue for May and September????
They always do, last year when we were going to AK they had 3 dates up for the event.

It’s not a big deal. You only get to pick one date, so those wanting the September date were not competing with those wanting the May date.

It just makes the queue look longer.

I’ve already been to 3 but I do wish they had a way to prioritize those who have never gone.

True. Only the sept date popped up on my account.

Tried and failed to get into the May date. Will there still be a general registration opening on May 3rd?

Has anyone had luck getting into the second registration pool if the first one sold out?
