We love ADH, it was actually pretty crowded on our trip in Nov 2021. Didn't check it out on our 2022 trip. One of the few adult places left to go after the parks close ...... it's issue isn't so much the way it's used but more it's location being kind of hard to get to in any way other than drive or ride share. I still miss PI (what a fun place) so hope they don't take this venue away too.

We STILL talk about how much we miss Pleasure Island lol. The Dance Hall is a fun addition to Boardwalk. We actually ended up at Boardwalk after seeing it across the lake a few times!

Not really… it’s super bright at night. We hung a blanket over it to block some of the light.

Looks like they did a really solid job. Clean and fresh but still fits the theme. A little yellow for my taste but actually looks better zoomed in so I think will be even more pleasing in person.

The yellow is pale and works great with the white and blues. I’m not a yellow fan either but it’s light and airy. Very pretty and a job well done!

Can someone refresh my memory please. The lobby is on the 2nd floor. To get to the lower boardwalk area with a scooter you take the elevator down to 2nd floor and go towards the lobby kinda and there is the other elevator to take you to the boardwalk area right? Or is it on the third floor. The lobby and elevator to go down.

Can someone refresh my memory please. The lobby is on the 2nd floor. To get to the lower boardwalk area with a scooter you take the elevator down to 2nd floor and go towards the lobby kinda and there is the other elevator to take you to the boardwalk area right? Or is it on the third floor. The lobby and elevator to go down.

We usually stay on the DVC side and those elevators go down to the 1st floor and you can get onto the Boardwalk that way. I'm unsure about the Inn side.

Yes lobby is on 2nd floor. There is a single elevator by the Bellevue Lounge near the staircase that exits inside the lobby on the 1st floor on the BWI side.

On the DVC side there are 3 elevators that open on the 1st floor lobby just inside the glass doors to the Boardwalk.

I have a friend who was supposed to stay at BWI next week. They called him a few days ago and said the refurbishment wasn’t completed and they need to move hotels. They moved him to Beach Club. He didn’t mind at all since he wanted to stay there or Yacht to begin with but they weren’t available. So heads up to those who have upcoming reservations. Has anyone else heard of this happening?

I have CL booked 5/1-5 at BWI and I’m crossing fingers the “end of April” timeline for the refurbishment is accurate. My conference is at BW and I don’t want to be anywhere else. I would even take a regular room and refund over being moved to another resort.

I canceled our trip for the first week of May. We didn’t want to take a chance. It was a flower and garden trip so we wanted to be in that area. We have two other non Disney trips booked this year. so I don’t think we will get there until 2024 now. I hope someone here takes lots of pictures when it reopens!

As far as I know the CL at Boardwalk isn’t scheduled to open until May11-14. Who knows it may be sooner, but that is what I was told during my visit in February.

Sorry, I also need to know an abbreviation - what does CL stand for? (it was not in two of the sites for Disney abbreviations I checked). So many abbreviations lol!

I had a couple of questions for DSS so I emailed them. I and asked about the BWI CL lounge reopening.
It sounds like there may have been an update. Now they are saying they expect it reopen at the end of April.
