**Edit: Sales to resume on 1/17** Disneyland to Resume Selling Select Magic Key Pass Today

Never mind, thought t was serious....

There was apparently a glitch where a few people who bought new Inspire Keys were able to see a fully opened calendar and make reservations. It's already in the process of being fixed. Disney moved on that one fast :rotfl2:

Can confirm not sold out - just secured 3 Keys for my boys!!! (Hubby will do single tickets.) ;)

I am seriously emotional right now - short story long I am originally from Anaheim (grew up watching the fireworks from my bedroom window), moved away when I was in High School, etc. Recently relocated back to SoCal from Toronto (Canada - cooooooooold) and I had it in my head that I would be able to do "disney dates" with my boys like my dad used to do with me. I seriously am so excited and don't know how I can wait until Christmas to tell them!!! LOL

I love this for you! I have to admit I got a little emotional too. It may sound silly to others, especially those who have been AP holders most of their lives, but oh well! I grew up going to the parks, but because of not living in the Anaheim area, it was never financially feasible to go enough times to be AP holders. So it was like the out of reach dream as a kid. And now i'm grown adult with my own money, so it's a little treat for myself to FINALLY get one. For once when they ask if I have a discount at the stores/restaurants, I won't have to make the sad face and go, "nooooo :(".

Can I ask, how long did you end up waiting in the queue? Just curious. I'm going on 2.5 hours and the bar is almost 1/3 full. I'm sure a lot more folks have joined as the word has gotten out. :)

I'm not the person you're replying to, but I joined the queue a little after 9 and it only took about an hour and 15 minutes for me. But, like you said, now that the word is out on social media and such, it's probably a longer wait. (Hopefully your queue isn't stalled. Fingers crossed for you!)

fortunately it is moving. Just very sloooowly. LOL

Does anyone that made it through the queue know if everything is still available, and if so how many can be bought at a time(trying to by for my family of three)? Looks like I'll be waiting awhile. LOL

I joined right at 9 and had my keys by 11:30 so about 2 1/2 hrs total.

I was able to get 3. Didn’t seem to be any “limitations” on number.

OK, a friend logged in on his account (he is CA, but hasn't had a pass since Covid) but the link to purchase only showed full amount. I logged on and could do it for him. Found it interesting....

Assuming your friend's account was tied to a California zip code, then there's just an option your friend overlooked. It's something like "don't see what you're looking for" or something like that I think. It'll bring up anything that's missing like payment plans and the Imagine for those eligible.

Not sure why the payment plan auto shows for some people and others you have to click an option to bring it up. Did that last year too when they first went on sale.

Well, first of all, I’m glad Disneyland is finally selling Magic Key Annual Passes again. Yippee Skippy! Second of all, sadly, I’m not so sure I’ll get it. I mean, my brother and sister In law told me that when you get the Magic Key Pass, you won’t get a guarantee to get an available reservation spot to go to DL and DCA. But that’s wonderful they’re selling again.

It's not a guarantee, but we get every date we want to reserve. That hasn't been a problem at all.

The info says discounts aren't available until the pass has been activated. Which I assume means scanned at the park. Does that also apply for hotel discounts? It would be awesome if I could use that discount (if available) for my first visit with a key.
Any experiences with this?

My daughter and I will probably only go 4 to 5 times a year for full days although I'd like to have a Key to pop over here and there. I'm on the fence about which types of Keys to get. I was thinking one Believe and one of whatever the top one is called. I see there are no open Saturdays in the month of October which is our favorite time, Halloween so we'd have to buy a single day ticket to have a full day there so that's another almost $200 per person. I'm not sure if the Keys will be worth it now that I've started to do the math. And of course, my turn is finally here for me to decide. LOL
