UGH! Ya'll are killing me w/ better Amex offers. I wonder can I chat to get a better offer? I was sent an email preapproving me for 80k w/ $10k spend. And I was sitting in the funeral home when I quickly applied. I did check and the public offer was 60k at the time so I knew the 80k was better. But now there's 110k. And I'm getting nothing but the URs for the damn AF! I really should have done the Amex Plat Biz. Live and learn.
My BF definitely doesn't wear it flying. I've heard of lots of pilots getting skin cancer. I know my mom recently had a spot. I'm sure it's in my future having grown up in the 80's w/ a pool when sunscreen wasn't a thing, LOL.

So, I got the split charge one and it seemed too good to be true. I "split" a $30 charge with Hubby, he paid it on PayPal, and I got the email that I used an AmEx offer. It seems like they're just going to give me $5.
I think I found a jacket. We'll see when it gets here if it fits. Ordered a girls XL so not sure the arms will be long enough. They didn't include those measurements. It may also be too fitted for what I want even if it does fit.I get hot easy and cold easy, it can be a painbut when a tshirt, fitted fleece zip and a zip hoodie aren't enough I don't know if this and one layer would work. Even when I run outside and it's cold I don't wear long sleeves under my fleece, it's too much. I also think once we have enough people so we can play games and I'm sweeping more than I'm standing around I may not need the extra outer layer. Or hoping it would be warmer than the fleece then I don't need the first fleece jacket.
We're trying to get enough people to start an official club so for now it's been mostly reaching and throwing with little sweeping. Amd employees keep telling us it'll get colder as it gets colder outside.(mostly cause I never get to use it and we have had a serious lack of emojis now that they are more hidden on mobile.
I would obviously wait a week or so and keep checking before calling but I did immediately get an email saying that a lender pulled my credit. An incorrect SSN is easy enough to correct and get approval. I've forgotten to unfreeze my credit before and it was approved once they could access my credit.
Lesson learned not to go looking for offers if I’m not sure what the best offer out there is. I hate how you might not get it back if you don’t take it on the spot. Oh well, it doesn’t take a 5/24 spot and I’ll be meeting the spend very quickly with tuition. In fairness I wouldn’t want the 20k spend, so it’s really just the 130k offer I missed out on.
They said they can't read the amount (even though it's written out and says 499.54). I used an ATM. They are sending me a copy of the money orders so I guess once I get that I'll sort this out.
It's just a way for them to get you to try it out. I certainly wouldn't have without the offer.

yup! I tried hitting 0, entering 000000000000000000 as the card number. I tried #, I tried *. NOTHING gets you to a human. And when I enter the legit card number they say "this is an inactive card, good bye"Did you try repeatedly mashing on the 0, # or *? Sometimes that will work. And yes mashing because by the time you are trying this you are mad (but really that other word that I think gets censored, starts with a p). It's not as satisfying on a cell phone as a real phone with actual buttons

We've used ours for grandparents. BFs or GFs of your kids, if they are that old. We have four kids, so ours definitely didn't go to waste, lol.
