How early did you have to get there before the parade? We’ll have to see where we’re at by the time the parade starts. Ds wants to do the dance parties, trick or treat, and ride rides. I’m worried he won’t want to stop what we’re doing to go watch the parade
I’m giving away my secrets but to you I’ll budge! You get there about twenty minutes before hand plenty of space and room and you’ll get the full power line dance show and as soon as the queen passes you run to Mickey Mouse with no wait!
Haha thank you! I’m hoping everything works out and ds is able to stay up. Our plan is to have him nap at home and then drive over for the party. He normally naps 1-4 pm but occasionally has days he skips so I’m hoping he doesn’t choose that day to skip lol
I would love this to happen. I had to postpone my trip due to a back injury and missed out on my scheduled party. I would love to be able to use my unused ticket when I go in a few weeks! I'm just one person!
Would this advice be the same for both parades? In other words, is the power line performance before both parades? And when you say "twenty minutes before", is this 20 minutes before parade start time (I'm assuming parade starts near the train station)?
Yes, they had bags at the trick or treat locations also. Not sure if they had the full size bag of mms that come in them though. I don’t think so.
Yes, it doesn’t matter what time you buy a park ticket and make the reservation. As long as both are available and you have done both you can enter that park any time that day.
The Parade begins in Frontierland When the Parade begins there, that's when Powerline is out on Main Street.

I went twenty minutes before the times listed on the times guide the parade takes a bit of time to reach main streeet USA! You’ll want to go by the train station to get that max good character interaction!
Where were/are the bags with the full size M&Ms?
In the locations you get the wrist bands. If you’re in the park already there are a couple spots and if you’re entering the park later for the party there’s a distribution point for that.
When we went, we completely missed the trick or treat bags being handed out at the front of the park where they were giving out wristbands just past the tapstiles. It was our first time at the party so we were not thinking to look for them, and none of the castmembers pointed them out to us. The first ToT station did not ave bags to give us. The second one did, but there was nothing in it.

I picked up my treat bag in the walkway behind Main Street (on the right just after I entered). The full size M&Ms were in bins a little farther along the walkway. They were a different kind of m& Ms and I did not think they were very good!
