New Hyatt biz SUB - double elite nights for stays from today until end of the year. Plus a SUB of 60k for $5000 spend.

Would be good for someone with a lot of stays coming up to get to Globalist. Too bad DH already has the card.
I tried finding this new offer but no luck - do you have a link? P2 got it last month and I figure it’s worth asking if they will match the new offer.

ETA: Ok, I see it mentioned on the OMAAT blog. Fingers crossed Chase will match it!

I used the preapproval tool this morning. Nothing for me. (I have the old Venture card) Lame for DH (He has the VentureX). We have checking and savings too.

Trying to come up with a new card. I goofed up my DH yesterday. Applied for a CIC and they want business verification. Jumped the gun and applied for a United Explorer (through a link on Dischurners) and that might be 7-10 days.
I want to keep myself clean for a SW later this year but I might go for something. Early planning for Scotland next fall. Thinking we'll be on United but I'm not a fan of their points charts. Maybe I need another CIC or CIU.

I'm over 48 mos on my CSR but I'm afraid of getting denied and losing my CSR!
Why are you afraid of getting denied? I’m about to do this, so I’m curious!

Good morning all!

I am wondering if anyone, besides me, got an email from "Chase in Partner with MSI International" stating:
Chase needs your feedback. Chase strives to provide the best financial services and card benefits for their customers. Chase has commissioned MSI, a market research supplier, to conduct a survey to help Chase better understand and meet the needs of their valued customers.

It goes on to say that the survey will take about 15-20 minutes and that those who qualify and complete the survey will receive a $10 Amazon gift card via email....
There are a bunch of links at the bottom.

I haven't clicked on anything and am thinking that this is certainly a scam of some sort. Anyone else get this? I'm that person that never clicks on anything and never answers an unknownn phone number. :rolleyes1

DH has an Amex offer
Biz gold SUB 90K with $10K MSR+ 30K with Kabbage Funding and one draw. Has anyone done the Kabbage Funding?

AMEX just did something like this they do it once a year I've never seen it with the chase. I actually won the 200$ amazon gift card one time they asked me a short survey about credit limits it was in my dashboard when I logged in it was simple and 10 questions nothing specific just like "are you happy with your credit limit" that again being said I never got one from chase.

Transatlantic is 1 free bag. Except basic economy. But for that length of flight I'd upgrade for sure.

Well that's great news. Do you know if you have to upgrade your entire trip? We have a flight to Charlotte and then another to London. Then the same coming back. So far all we have upgraded are the Atlantic crossings. Also when looking at our itinerary at aa.com our class still says basic economy even though we upgraded to main cabin extra. Is this normal?

I'm guessing you have to upgrade the whole trip but no experience here. Have an AA credit card? That would give free bag as well.
Also have not upgraded to know if itinerary would change class but I'd think it should. Did you get to pick seats?

Yes I picked the seats. I'll go ahead and upgrade the other flights to main cabin extra. It's not a huge cost.

Really a lot of excitement yesterday for not much at all. Only thing Japan ended up doing is stopping pcr tests if you've had 3 doses as of Sept 7.

The leak about the unguided tours didn't get announced so nothing else changed.

Good luck with the match! I sent off an SM too, though DH got his in April lol. I don't expect them to match, but figured it doesn't hurt to ask.

There is one positive DP on Flyertalk from someone who got the card this month.

finally signed up for premium thrifty traveler if anyone is interested 40% off code is FORTY
Thanks I was interested in trying this and just signed up using the promo you posted. Heard good things on reddit. I like that it allows you to opt into biz class fares from ALL airports and that it gives you the option for text alerts on mistake fares. Good features.

I have been a fan of Scott's Cheap Flights, but now that we fly on points so much, the cash deals SCF posts really haven't been that helpful. And I wasn't a fan of their elite business class fares at all, as they all seemed in the $2.2k area, so not really reasonable if using an Amex Plat rebate.

Question for the Status Match experts.
I am currently a Hyatt Globalist, which was awesome this year since we saved so much money on parking and breakfast this year, but I just won't reach Globalist this year (I'll only hit 20 nights). I did the status MGM match, I'm gold, will I be able to at least match to Explorist next year using my MGM status?

Yes, you'll be able to match to Explorist. Then back to MGM Gold, round and round for as long as it lasts.
