GotG Cosmic Rewind AP previews

Thank god I got a pass holder preview to ride this as I will never pay for ILL or genie plus but man the line is gonna be huge on this

I had a lot of “issues”for the Remys Adventure Preview and just had to explain everything to castperson and then to the Cast Lead when they were available.
I think you will be allowed to ride… Good luck with all the trip planning.

I am hoping they will have some mercy and let me still ride. Flight was changed this evening from Saturday evening to first thing Sunday morning. So hopefully if I talk to a CM they will let me ride after missing my reservation window. If not, no big deal. I will catch it later on this year.

Does anyone know if the Genie+ 2pm issue has been fixed yet?

We have a 2pm preview slot and we’re going to go to Hollywood studios in the AM and try to do Toy Story Mania twice, once stand by and once with Genie to start the day, but if it won’t let me book till 2pm I think I may just skip genie that day.

Someone in a different group I’m in said it was, but then she went on to say that not only did she have no issue booking Genie for the morning at HS on her GotG preview day, but she also successfully stacked Genie at HS for the morning. When I asked how she was able to stack for the morning when she wasn’t able to book her second LL until 2 hours after park open, she never responded. So, I’m not sure if she misunderstood the original question and actually stacked LLs for the afternoon after her GotG preview. I hope someone has a clearer answer for you!

This is interesting. We are going to HS on Monday prior to hopping to Epcot for our 4pm GOTG preview so I would like to know as well.

I don’t think it should be a problem. Sometimes people have trouble getting the e-mails.

You may check to see if there’s an issue with your e-mail on the AP side of things if you ever have the time/

They just scan your band - you don't need anything else with you. If the park reservation showed up, it means Disney knows you're "in" and you should be good to go.

I received the second email for our preview and there was no new information. Same thing the first email said

We went on Monday and when I offered the email, the CM said they do not need it, just scanned the magic band. You should be all set - have fun!

I had my AP preview on Tuesday, which is - as I'm writing this - still the most-recent AP preview day, and it was NOT fixed.

Fortunately for me, I did Keys at MK that morning, so I was afternoon-stacking anyway.

Hopefully, the answer will be better on Sunday.

I was pretty certain the person in another group who told me she had stacked “for the morning” didn’t understand the question I was asking, but I didn’t want to sound mean and call her out. Thanks for verifying.

Interesting. No one scanned me past the initial check to get into the area. I could have done a re-ride easily, but don’t think my heart can take it!

I showed up at 10:29am for the 10-10:30am slot. The line stretched past Connections Cafe but it moved pretty fast. They were letting in people with 10 and 10:30 slots. The 11am and later (that showed up early) were being held in a separate line to the side. Line splits into 3 different sections to scan in. Got held up behind someone with an Apple Watch that had trouble scanning into the area. Stepped into the building at 10:45am. Preshow at 10:50, takes awhile. Exited preshow 11, entered cart at 11:15. But all in all, ended up leaving ride at 11:20.

The rider swap area is unfortunately outside. We were told we could wait at Connections Cafe and just tell the CM when it was time to re-enter for the second parent. Didn’t want to do it so just stayed around the Lightning Lane entrance. Not a lot of shade so be prepared. Enjoy the ride it is intense!

Just got back from the AP preview. They let me in with no problem. Just told them I had some flight issues and they told me no worries. Love that ride! So much fun.
