Wine list

So I convinced my brother to join us for a few days on our trip, he use to be a huge wine guy but has been in some rough times last few years were doing steak house 71, the hibachi place in Epcot and his last night I'd like to take him to a place with a killer wine list, suggestions?

Citrico's at Grand Floridian boasts "an award winning wine list" .. per the Restaurant description -

Not topolinos. A wine person I went with wasn’t impressed. I haven’t been to wine bar George but I do hear they are great. I believe food there is tapas style fyi. Check menu out first.

What about Jiko's? They boast about their South African Wines. We ate there last week and although I'm certainly no wine expert, my wine (from Capetown South Africa) was delicious! Wonderful meal also.

Wine Bar George, hands down. I love that they have the option of 1 oz pours of the more expensive wines so you can still afford a small sample. Of course you can order a regular glass or a bottle as well from their (very) extensive wine list. Plus the food, though limited, is delicious. You will not leave hungry! The service is always great, as well. Our son who doesn't even like wine loves it just for the food alone.

Edited to add: If you decide on WBG and have trouble finding a reservation on MDE, try Open Table. I've had much better luck getting them through OT, than MDE.

I actually like South African and most Southern Hemisphere wines in general.

If you are looking for food and wine, then Jikos is a good option.
Flying Fish also had a really nice wine list with their food.
If you just want wine, Wine Bar George will make him blush. Amazing list of wine by the glass or flights. And VERY knowledgeable staff.

I would still try and take him to Wine Bar George. For wine lovers, it is amazing.

They used to do a wine tasting. I booked it for my daughter once and she thought it was fabulous.

Jiko was the only restaurant that I willingly got up at 4:00 for an ADR for (we're in a different time zone) and agreed after our meal that it had been well worth getting up that early for.

At least we all have it narrowed down to the definitive two best places for wine on Disney property right?!
