What are your places that are rarely talked about or out of the way, but are you go to places and a hidden gem for yourself.

TS I go with Grand Floridian Cafe. Very Good and Quiet Place with food that meets your higher end TS.

CS I go with Pizzarizzo. Its not much and rarely mentioned, But there Meatball Sub with pasta salad works everytime. Not as crowd and loud as the other CS either.

We had our first stay at Saratoga Springs last week, and tried the Turf Club restaurant for the first time. I was actually very impressed. Calm, elegant atmosphere, delicious food...I would consider this a "hidden gem."

Maybe it's not a hidden gem anymore, but Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge. Great food/drinks and a beautiful view of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Last time I stayed at WL I spent a good part of my resort day relaxing there with a drink, it's really peaceful.

Also an amazing spot to have breakfast before it opens. There are some seats closer to the water so in the morning I would get breakfast and coffee at Roaring Fork and bring it out over there. SUPER relaxing and wonderful.

On our HS day we took the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach for dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro. The food was awesome, not to mention amazing value for Disney at $29/adult.

It’s a family style meal. You get nice rolls, a fun salad, citrus chicken, mojo pork, flank steak, rice and beans, broccolini, vegetable curry, and pineapple coconut bread pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream.

I'd second Geyser Point I was also going to say The Wave... but they tore that down and I haven't been to the new place so I can't comment but The Wave was OMG good.

For me, its not so much a specific meal or restaurant. Its an atmosphere. One of my favorite hidden gems is to grab a snack and stroll along the back walkway between Africa and Pandora after dark at AK. Its usually pretty quiet and the green lights set in the trees and shrubs creates a relaxing glow. I love strolling along there, enjoying a snack, and being away from the crowds for a few minutes

Our hidden gem in Dec 2021 was Capt Cooks at the Poly! The pulled pork nachos were awesome. We ate there twice during our stay.

I agree with the others about Geyser Point. Copper Creek is our home resort for DVC and it's probably our favorite place on property.
The best way to end our day is down there lakeside with a nice drink watching the water pageant. But I also agree with the poster above that it's not so hidden anymore. I'm afraid the word has gotten out.

Another favorite is to grab a cold beer at Rose and Crown and then head back to the garden area of the UK pavilion, grab a seat on a bench and just relax and people watch. It's usually not very crowded and up until she recently moved to the American pavilion, if you could catch the piano player performing it made for a wonderful break in the day.

Intriguing...anyone else try this place? Thanks for the tip!

Though I don't think Geyser Point is a hidden gem anymore, I don't think it's been impacted much by crowds. I always go at peak lunch time hours and was seated within 5 minutes but maybe it's different at dinner. I want to tell people how great it is but I don't want it to become like other popular spots where it's impossible to get a seat.

Someone else on here said Sanaa and I don't think it's hidden anymore. It was the most difficult reservation to grab for my upcoming trip and every time I eat there I always see a massive line of people waiting to sign up for the walk up list.
