2022 Flower and Garden Festival - Mar 2-July 4

It seems so odd that the festival is two weeks away, and there are no outdoor kitchen menus posted. I don't remember them being this late before, but maybe I'm wrong?

Can't wait! This is something my 85 year old dad and I have both always wanted to do and have never done. We are doing a special Orlando trip to specifically hit this. Doing two week days at Epcot, March 21 and 23. For one of the days, we have six other family and extended family members coming.

My dad has more limited mobility these days (needs a scooter for the parks) and doesn't do much travel these days either (more of a hassle than it used to be), but he was totally on board to do this trip. I'm actually doing a six hour drive to his house and flying down with him and flying back with him and doing the six hour drive back home to make this happen. (He's not comfortable traveling without someone with him, and my wonderful mother passed away three years ago). The rest of my family will fly from St. Louis where we live, and I have relatives in Orlando and Idaho coming too. Too much fun!

Please post pictures and menus when they are available.

We are only going to EPCOT the day we arrive and most likely won't enter the park until 3 pm. I had planned to do whatever rides we could do first and then hit WS. Will this still be as enjoyable as the sun sets? It'll be the middle of May, so the sun will set later but it looks like it'll be mostly a nighttime thing for us.

This makes me wonder if I should try to reverse my schedule and try to get LL's for the rides later in the day instead.

Depending on the day of the week and if it is a holiday, it can get pretty crowded in WS in the evening. Weekends are worse than week days. On the other hand, depending on the time of year it can still be pretty hot during the daylight and sometimes some of the offerings at the booths aren't real tempting in 10000 degree heat. So, plus sides to both.

Just a hmmmm thought. During FOH they had an AP discount at the booths on Tuesdays (I think it was Tuesday). It would be great if they did that again for F&G, fingers crossed.

I live in SE Texas, so May is always tolerable to me. We'll be there on a Tuesday, so hopefully, we can knock it all out.

I'm always so surprised at the lack of bees during Flower & Garden. Not sure if it's a Florida thing or a Disney thing, but I'm grateful! Highly allergic to them.

We've got TobyMac during our visit and I don't even know who that is. :confused3I'm upset about just missing BS&T. Although how many of them are the original band members remains to be seen. I was really hoping for Squeeze as they've done it before.

The Epcot Calendar:

Art & Food & Wine
Plants & Food & Wine
Miserably hot
Food & Wine
Santas & Food & Wine

We'll be there for an extended trip over Plants & Food & Wine, and are looking forward to it!
We'll be there 4/7 for the first time! I can't wait, we've always been during Food & Wine so this will something different.

Oh no this is suppose to say 3/7 lol

I cannot figure out for the life of me how to post a link here. DFB has the 2022 menu list up on their site. Don't know how close it is to last year's but it's listed as the 2022 menu.
