Epcot still a mess?

Is Epcot still a mess with construction walls that break up Future World? It was a mess there this past April. If so, do you think it will still be a mess for the October 1 celebration?

It is anticipated that the Future World refurb will have the Epcot main entrance rerouted for another year. We’re guessing it may be finished in time for Epcot’s 40th anniversary on Oct 1, 2022.

It was still a mess as of 8/20 and I cannot imagine that it gets significantly better in a month.

As others have said, it will continue to be a mess for quite a while to come.

Yes yes yes! At Disney world now and disappointing that there are still boards up everywhere. They have a lot to do between now and 50th Celebration

I do not believe the walls will be down in time for the 50th. Maybe by the time the 50th ends (18 months).. but def not before

Maybe in the very very beginning planning stages of the construction, but even before Covid, the goal wasn't to have Epcot done before the 50th.

We were at WDW in May and Epcot which “was“ my favorite Disney park was sad. I have no interest in going back for the next two to three years,
Yeah, it’s tough to visit. They neglected to update any of Future World for years.

On a people watching note, it’s fun to stand and the dead end behind Spaceship Earth to see people go back there only to get lost. I’ve even seen Disney post cast members back there to point people in the right direction.

I agree it's depressing - I'll be there next week and I'm considering not even visiting Epcot except I'd like to do a little food and wine. and I've never seen Epcot Forever. If it weren't for those two things I wouldn't even be considering it. Sad really. My faves are a tie - MK and AK.
