Tickets forJuly?

My wife and I have a DVC reservation for July 3 at the Grand Californian. Does anyone know when I will be able to buy park tickets for that date?

Tickets can be bought in advance now.

If you're looking at a one day ticket, make sure you make your reservation (once available) after you purchase your ticket. Because of the way the purchase process is set up for one day tickets where you have to click a calendar date, this has confused some people into thinking that counts as a reservation. It does not. It is only to determine the tier level ticket needed.

If you're getting a multi day ticket, you will need to make reservations for each day of.your ticket once reservations are available. Tiers do not apply to multi day tickets.

Am assuming that the July 4 weekend will be busy, so on Tuesday I want to make my park reservations for July 3 early. I know I can make them this Tuesday 5/2, but does anyone know what time in the morning the reservations page opens up?

Today is 5/2. Tuesday is 5/4.

I keep meaning to watch what time they update, but I've seen the next day pop up some time after midnight PST. It might actually be midnight. But that could have been a fluke? I'll set an alarm to double check tonight what time 7/2 reservations go live.

That would be amazing! Thank you in advance! But if you don't feel like getting out of bed, I totally understand!

I'm usually up that late anyways and on my phone lol! It's something I've been meaning to check anyways. I just need an alarm to remind me to look at the reservation calendar at the correct time I want to check.

I'll report back :)

Sounds good! :)

Availability calendar updated for 7/2:
Hotel guests: 12:00am 5/3
Park hoppers: 12:02am 5/3
Single park: 12:03am 5/3

So I would check for 7/3 starting at midnight on 5/4 (in just under 24 hours).

EDIT: there are people on Gothic Rosie's page saying while the availability calendar shows the dates open, they are not showing when they go to actually reserve. I don't have tickets in my account that aren't attached to reservations already to check this part.

EDIT 2: someone updated again and said they see it go live at 8am to actually reserve.

Sadly, as mentioned, nothing I can check further. But this does make logical sense. When they opened on 4/12 for existing ticket holders and the 4/15 for new ticket purchases, the language was "not before 8am" for both days.

Well, it’s got be a little before 8 AM since I just tried about 5 min ago to see what‘s available and I would have been able to make reservations for 7/2. I’ll try a little after midnight tonight anyway. And thank you for all this!!

Hrm, interesting! Definitely please report back what time you're able to actually book tomorrow. It could be any point between midnight and 8am at this rate then lol. At 1am people were saying it wasn't available, though.

Thank you!

So are these times Pacific? If I am on the east coast would it be 4am? Also, If I purchase a 4 day hopper can I book all four days on the first day of the dates opening or do I have to do one reservation every day that the day opens? (assuming of course OOS people will be able to go) I currently have a reservation at GCV too.

Have to go one day at a time. I booked 7/2 this morning after buying 5 day hoppers. I will book 7/3 tomorrow, 7/4 Wednesday, and 7/5 on Thursday. Then I have to go back and book 7/13 next Friday.

8am pacific time is 11am eastern.

Since DLR is in the PT zone, yes. We're using local time for the resort. 8am here is 11am on the east coast (you're 3 hours ahead of us, not 4 hours behind us).

When OOS are cleared to make park reservations and go to DLR, you have to make your reservations one at a time and only as each day becomes available. If your dates are still 60+ days out after OOS are cleared to make park reservations, you will need to reserve your days one at a time each day they open.

So if I wanted 7/2 through 7/4, I would have booked my first day today (5/3), 7/3 tomorrow, and then 7/4 on Wednesday.

If your dates are already within the 60 day window when OOS can make park reservations, you'll just go in and make each reservation one at a time, but without the wait for the next morning element. Similar to what happened for the first 60 days of operation.

Thank you. I was referring to the post that mentioned the tickets becoming available at 12am not 8 am. It sounds like it is not consistent?

12am was when the availability calendar that anyone can see updated to show the next day, but I cannot check if reservations are actually available because that requires unattached to a date tickets.

8am is when was being reported by those with tickets on Gothic Rosie's information page that they saw reservations open up. People were saying at 1am they could not reserve the new day despite it showing on the public availability calendar. Paul reported seeing the reservations a few minutes before 8am.

Two different things happening at two different times all in PT :)

I signed on at 6:15 AM this morning May 4 to make park reservations for Saturday July 3. The first several times I just got the annoying Stitch "Someone Ate The Page" screen. Then I tried signing in through the Disneyland app on my cell phone. It took me to the same "disneyland.disney.go.com" portal, where I had to sign in again, but this time everything worked! So I can confirm that the reservation page was active, and had already opened up for July 3, by at least 6:15 AM.

My wife and I have Park Hopper tickets, and both California Adventure and Disneyland were available as the first park to visit, or the "all day" option. I chose California Adventure, to get in early to see Avenger's Campus. We'll be able to go to Disneyland that day after 1 PM.
