What are your top 5?

Oh this is so individual. For me, my must-do's (all for different reasons) are:
BF at The Crystal Palace in MK
San Angel Inn
Jiko
Homecomin
Sci Fi Dine In at HS

I don't have a top 5 (that would be relevant to today) but I have to ask... where's the love for 'Ohana? Has it lost its luster? I was last there 10+ years ago and OMG I can't wait to go back!
We love Obama! We’re hoping it reopens before we get there.

Hacienda San Angel
The Boathouse
Wine Bar George
Trattoria al Forno
Homecomin

And our personal hands down favorite: Flying Fish.....if only it would reopen!

The Wave - We did dinner and breakfast last trip and both were fantastic (food and service)
Sanaa - the bread service is one of DD's favorite things
LTT - DH's favorite meal. I preferred lunch when it was ala carte, but I like the dinner food, too.
Via Napoli
1900PF (B or D) and Boma (D - didn't like their breakfast) are two of my favorite buffets but they're closed :( So I guess 50's Prime Time

Anyone else finding it incredibly difficult to limit to 5? :rolleyes1 Just me? :rotfl:
  • Wine Bar George - feel like this is signature food and service but not technically signature (Sat/Sun brunch as good as regular lunch/dinner)
  • Topolino’s (breakfast and dinner)
  • Boathouse - specifically, sitting outside on a beautiful day at the dockside bar
  • Hollywood Brown Derby
  • California Grill
  • Honorable Mentions: bluezoo, Chefs de France, La Hacienda de San Angel, Via Napoli, Sanaa, Tiffins
Anxiously awaiting the re-opening of:
  • Jiko
  • Flying Fish
  • Yachtsman

In what I'd call a special category (but sooooo good):
  • Bull & Bear (Waldorf)
  • Capa (Four Seasons)

I agree with most everything people wrote but my favorite...unfortunately isn't open now...is Cape May. If you like seafood you would love this one. I'm hoping they will open again soon.

We've not done a lot of signatures, so don't have opinion on those. Never tried Cal Grill or the Wave, but hear/read so many good opinions on those and Homecomin. DH and his parents enjoyed Boathouse recently and really enjoyed it.
Our favorites are almost all buffets....and not open yet.
Boma
Cape May
Akershus (we actually like the food on the cold bar, including the weird, brown cheese,)
Tusker House

We've enjoyed O'hana a lot in the past. Also, we've always enjoyed Skipper canteen, more so for the atmosphere, and the food is good enough

In your opinion, what are the top 5 Table service restaurants at WDW? We are budgeting for our June trip and certainly have our favorites, but wanted to try a few new places. Specifically we are looking for places that fire on all cylinders (i.e. taste, consistency, theming, service, etc.).
My family's top 5 and top 5 with theming are not the same. We have had excellent food, consistency, and service at: CA Grill, The Wave, Narcoosee's, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Cape May Cafe but the themes are subtle.
Our favorite TS's that feel well-themed are:
Boma
Tiffins
Sanaa
Jiko
Biergarten
if we get more than 5, add ...Skipper's Canteen and Liberty Tree Tavern

We have liked the themes but found BoG, Artist's Point, and Akkershus inconsistent regarding food quality. We've had disappointing service (no water refills, didn't check on us) at BoG - I think they're just so popular and busy that they can't. Of course, everyone has different tastes. We will make decisions for our next trip based upon menus at the time.

We're just starting to build a favorites list, as we always did counter service when all the kids were little. But, Homecomin' has quickly become a family favorite that we have to hit every trip. Hubby and I are trying a few of these often listed ones this upcoming trip - California Grill for anniversary dinner & Biergarten.

The Wave
California Grill
Chef de France
Brown Derby
Biergarten for a buffet

I made a ressie for Tiffens and asked for the food allergies menu. And had to walk out. FYI, if you have a seafood allergy, I would tell you to not go here. I soooo wanted to try it.

1. Cinderella's Royal Table
2. Sci Fi
3. Ohana
4. Via Napoli
5. Hoop De Doo
(we do those top 5 every trip - but we also love Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, Be Our Guest and we are trying Sanaa this trip, since two of our faves aren't open)

Our top 5 are:

Raglan Roads
Rose & Crown
Monsieur Paul (if or when it opens back up)
Tiffin
Le Cellier

Other loves are Biergarten, Boma and Victoria & Alberts's

It is also great to see so many people who didn't pick California Grill. My family thinks it is the MOST overrated on property and not worth (except for the view of the fireworks).
