Thank you for the info! We usually drive and I swing by a market and buy more than we can possibly eat during a stay. This time we are flying so I thought that I'd give GG a try.

It’s expensive! But reliable.

Aug. 3 - 8 and getting excited!
I spend so much at Publix on unnecessary items, I will probably do better financially with the GG mark ups. I am such an impulse buyer when shopping on vacation. At home, I am the opposite.

Just popping in to say we have used GG many times and love their service. If you need something that is not listed on their website, they are really great about finding the items for you at local stores.

It sounds like GG will drop off at bell services as usual. I assume, from what I have read for resort services post-covid, that when you need the order delivered to your room, bell services will bring it up to your room but you have to be present and they will just drop it off at the door. Yes??

That’s what I heard. Friends just got back from a Poly stay. They left their luggage with Bell Services and called later that night and BS brought it to their room.
Worst case scenario we pick it up ourselves from Bell Services.

What type of coffee pot is in an Atrium club level room? Any? It's unlikely that CL will be open so I would like to plan. Do they also have mini refrigerators?

Keurig single pod / cup. No longer a mini-fridge but a beverage cooler. This just really means that they have removed the mini-freezer compartment so you can't freeze anything.

Makes sense as they always froze up in the old days... Here is a pic that @GADisneyDad14

Are there any running paths outside that are accessible? I would take a boat over to fort Wilderness and run there, but I don’t think that is an option. Going to be there 7/12-7/16...

Yes there are choices for guests jogging or walking around the Contemporary. The official CR jogging path is .9 miles and circles Bay Lake Tower and the South Garden Wing, passing by the pool area and the Marina.

The resort launches may be up and running for your visit since the Tower and Garden wing opne (July 10) in addition to just BLT. The paths at Ft Wilderness will be available but nice quite nature path between Ft Wilderness and the WL was closed for the construction of the new Reflections resort that is now currently on hold.

PP answered your question, but it’s not the best running setup (IMO). I dislike running in short loops but not much choice at CR. Round and round is my plan.

I’ve read about people who get out on World Drive and run, but I’ve never felt comfortable doing that.

Does anyone know if Contempo Cafe or the pool bar will be open when CR does? The only restaurant that I can tell for sure is The Wave.

Ahh the Contempo Cafe is open now! We expect the Sand bar will open on or about July 10th when the Tower and the Garden wing open to guests.

The current hours for the Contemp Cafe are 7 AM - 10 PM. The hours are subject to change.

I’m hoping they expand the menu when the CR opens. I didn’t see the Italian Beef sandwich on there.

I hope The Sand Bar opens. Even though we are bringing a sufficient amount of wines from home (true to my name!), I was hoping a pool bar would be open once the hotel side reopens.
