Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

4 hours and 45 minutes on hold and I was finally able to book my 8 days. The CM must have shook something loose because suddenly everything was working from my computer and I could do my own booking.
 
Holy Crap! I just went back in after about an hour since chat ended, decided to give it one more try for second trip (Nov./Dec.), and that one worked now with just my normal login!!

Yeah, same here - or they finally got it fixed! The CM was only able to get my first trip (Aug.) working. When he put in the duplicates for my Dec. trip, it wouldn't work because that's a DVC trip, not a package, and going off of AP. Worked now for me though.

Now if only I knew where we were staying in August . . . (YC/BC reservations starting 2 days before opening, so that's the next issue to tackle . . . on another day).
 
I don't know what just changed on the backend of the system, but I just booked all of my park reservations after struggling with the cap yesterday and the grayed out park options earlier today. If you haven't tried recently, try again! Beyond excited!
 
After 5:56 hrs, 1:26 with an awesome Cast Member Bianca (spell?), she was able to work her magic and book all of our park days... Now it is time to call it a night and sleep until Thursday. ;)

Thanks all for the advise and well wishes through the bumps and ruts in the road. See you tomorrow! For the folks still waiting on hold, hang in there they won't drop the calls. For the folks calling tomorrow, keep the faith. If you get a sub-standard person, there are others ready, willing and able to support you (a little shiny lining).
 
After 5 hours I'm still no further than when I started :( Super friendly/cheerful CM but he couldn't get any of the known workarounds to work so it is being escalated. He did say a software update is going through at midnight tonight so it may fix it and to check in the morning.
I think this update worked, because an hour ago I still couldn't get park reservations, and now I was able to get them for all 27 days I have booked (I still need a few more but I'm waiting for Hilton to link the rest of my April reservation with MDE). I was suffering from the active AP and new pass vouchers on our accounts glitch. Thanks for the heads up about the update!

And that 14 day limit does not exist, CM's need to get on the same page about that.

Yayyyyyyy!!!!! So 5 seconds before I got thru to IT, I checked the website again on a whim and all four parks were available in all their glory :dance3:I booked my last two days and IT picked up the phone after 4 hours on hold just so I could say thank you LOL...(at 12:20 AM no less)
 
Just got off the phone. No help for me. While on the phone, her system was going down for an upgrade. She was very apologetic, but could not do anything. So . . . 7 hours total today on the phone waiting, and no dice!
 
No time spent on hold... Just waited patiently for IT to fix the issue. No stress as I still had 3 days before the 26th. Ha
Booked 3 10 day trips in about 15 minutes.
Now just waiting to see how far we have to push back our trip in order to get some normalcy back in the parks.

Just got off the phone. No help for me. While on the phone, her system was going down for an upgrade. She was very apologetic, but could not do anything. So . . . 7 hours total today on the phone waiting, and no dice!
Don't give up yet- I had multiple problems which were just fixed by whatever they did system-wide this past hour. Get some sleep and try again early in the morning. I hope yours are fixed also- I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

After spending £200 on hold last night, going to bed in tears and declaring that i was giving up I have woken up this morning and have managed to BOOK AN ENTIRE 14 DAY TRIP FOR 2021 VIA THE APP WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL!!

I am assuming the glitch must be fixed

So my advice to those stuck in the one booking only glitch (where all other days then grey out afterwards) is to NOT waste time on hold, trying webchat or trying the hacks that i tried (refresh, delete & rebook the 1st etc) this is NOT an issue with MDE that Disney IT has to fix in order to proceed which is what led me to sitting on hold and wasting so much money

IT HAS RESOLVED ITSELF

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY AND RELIEVED TO NOT BE SPENDING A 3RD DAY DOING THIS!

That is brilliant news. Hurrah. So happy for you. I actually logged in today just to see whether there was an update from you. ADRs next😂😉.

And tell me, how do you feel?
After waiting for a reply in chat, for six hours, and receiving a useless generic response, and then calling in Monday night, but giving up after waiting on hold for three hours, I again tried some of the solutions posted here, along with some of my own ideas. With 17 hours spent trying to resolve the issues that prevented me from booking the Park Passes, what did I have to lose, except a little more sleep? I immediately felt a huge sense of relief, when I started seeing all of the parks showing as available for booking. So, how do I feel? Relieved, to have claimed victory in this challenge!

Now, we shall all hope for the virus to take a downward turn in numbers, and then continue to have reductions in cases and fatalities, not only for the welfare of everyone, but also for being able to start to return to more of the norm, everywhere, including at WDW.

One of the questions on the Disney survey I received this week asked about how I believed I would find WDW, when I returned.
I did not select the option that I thought it would be as magical as ever.

So, how do you feel?
