Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

A few min ago I got the login screen, put the correct info in and 3 times it told me incorrect name or password and sent me to the pink castle. The info is NOT incorrect.
Happened to a lot of us. Someone was able to finally get in anyway after that, but system isn't working yet. I'm still staring at the castle.

I'm never compelled to post, but this is too irritating. We used to go to San Diego Comic-Con and that site was slammed by millions of people when the pass window opened, there was a nice virtual queue and then you were randomly sorted and placed into a line. It makes no sense that a company like Disney can't get their site to work when they are fully aware everyone staying at a resort is going to be logging in for reservations. My local zoo has a better reservation system.

So I AM logged in and I tried some "back door" ways to get to a park reservation...

I tried going through reservations>dining>parks and destinations

Since we can see the calendar there - Does not work

I tried going through an attraction since you can see the calendar.

That did not work -

Grrrr

And if I click on My Plans

Castle Time Out

I honestly don't think there are any hidden agendas here. Specifically, I don't think Disney is doing this to get people to cancel. I've been doing this a long time and there are IT issues with literally EVERY big launch (and even not-so-big changes): Magic Bands, Free Dining, any other type of promotion, reservations for the following year, Tuesdays, overcast days, days when it's a little windy, etc.

I was able to log in.. when you press park reservation it takes me to the Intro page where it says coming soon.. the castle is now gone.

Does anyone have the Park Reservations Menu item on the dropdown? If so check the URL on hover and post that. That's the page we need to refresh.

conspiracy theories abound in my head...I won't post them or I'll be in trouble on this site :badpc:

I've gotten past the castle but the park reservations page is still the same as yesterday. My bf, who's a computer engineer, said they prob rolled it back to a previous state and are now working on pushing another update that hopefully works. He said that's what he would be doing if he was a developer in this situation. *crossing fingers*
Let’s hire him

They totally know, they just don't care. Disney IT has always been awful.

You forgot every day that ends with Y. :rotfl2:

These current issues have nothing to do with later reservation people. The site is not up yet, the site is not running, therefore you can not get to the site. Stop blaming later date reservations.

I thought I read they were only doing park reservations through September 26th?

3 laptops going, haven’t been able to sign into any of them even once. Been trying for 50 minutes now.
