"It was 23 years ago today that I launched the DIS. To be honest, I didn't look at it as a "launch" back then. It was just another thing I was doing for fun. It is amazing what can happen when you just follow your heart and passion. "

Good grief! That means this site has been around since 1997, which was the year of our first trip to Florida. No internet at home then, we did the trip the old-fashioned way, booking flights and accommodation through a Florida-specialist TA (anyone else in the UK remember Mercury Travel? ) and buying attraction tickets when we arrived - you could get part-used Disney tickets back in those days. I remember we also sat through a timeshare presentation to get free tickets for either Universal or Seaworld (can’t remember which, now).
