How is anybody able to find...

Got up at the crack of dawn this morning and got to Target 45 minutes before they opened. It was worth it because I was the first one in line and scored a 36 pack of TP, a pack of paper towels, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and a 4 pack of Kleenex. I came out feeling like I won the lotto :rotfl:

I still can’t find yeast.

I did the pickup at the grocery store yesterday. They found most of my items. I’m going to do an 8a run on Sunday. I figure people will be doing online church stuff then.

I'm like you-I have food, in no way would we go hungry. But going to a store or looking online and not finding something just makes me stress out.

Thank you-I swear I'm not crazy, but this is sure making me feel like it!

Yesterday after work I decided to venture to Save-A-Lot to see what they might have. I found spaghetti noodles-and you would have thought I found a winning lottery ticket. I found canned beans. And they had frozen veggies, and plenty of other food. No TP, no paper towels or cleaning products of any kind, no bleach either. They did have Hershey's syrup, so DS was happy.

I told DS we'd have to keep trying for TP and paper towels-he said,"why? I went to Sam's a week before this all blew up and have all of that in my trunk." He bought the huge packages, so thankfully we are set on those for a while.

your son gets a gold medal for that one.. 🥇 Good thing you said something to him or it would have been in his trunk for awhile, lol!

Dried beans. My grocery store has had no dried beans for several weeks now. Are people actually eating all those beans, or storing them for "just in case"? I used to cook and eat dried beans several times a week. I loathe eating most types of meat (makes me gag for some reason) but am okay with fish, so that's going to have to be my new protein source for a while. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I'm definitely curious what people are doing with all the beans!
Probably storing them until they use up all the canned beans that take up more storage space;).

Scored a 15 pk (never saw a 15 pk before!) of TP this morning at Target!
This is an Easter gift for a very pregnant family member.
Going to put an Easter ribbon on it and give it to her this weekend!
Got so excited about my find that I forgot to look for newborn diapers..

After looking for 3 weeks I finally found some TP at the store. I bought 1 12 pack, there were 5 more left. I really wasn't looking forward to asking a neighbor if they could spare a roll.

The only thing I haven't seen is hand sanitizer.

I was able to get paper towels, tp, clorox wipes by getting to costco before opening and waiting in line.

My sister-in-law is moving this weekend and has been living at her parents house while theirs is built. For her "house warming" gift she is getting tp, paper-towels, kleenex, hand soap, dish soap and other essential items that you don't want to spend money on for a new house and things that are hard to find! She probably won't have any tp or papertowels when she moves in.

I set up an alert for toilet paper & was able to grab some from Walmart this morning. It’s scheduled to arrive next week.

I have a friend who posts daily deals from Amazon, & I was able to order some Lysol wipes yesterday & some Emergen-C today. Both are supposed to arrive towards the end of April.

And DH ordered some yeast from Amazon earlier this week - we haven’t been able to find any in our local stores.

I haven’t been able to get any vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox cleaning spray. However, I haven’t been in & out of stores. (When DH shops, he goes to 2 stores to get what we need, & he’s only going every 2 weeks. I’ve done an Instacart order too - but just from one store.)

The only thing I haven't been able to get is Lysol spray.
We spray our shoe bottoms before entering the house......if the little I have left runs out I guess we will use Clorox wipes.

I can't take credit for the idea, I saw it online, but with 5 single guys living in his apartment 24/7, they could probably use any help they can get. :rotfl:

Ceremonies this year will necessarily be held virtually, so please accept my apologies for not attempting to put on my white gloves and give it a Queen Elizabeth stiff upper lip to bestow your honors in person and consider yourself the proud 2020 titleholder, with all rights and privileges therein.

Oddly enough, I got alcohol at our local Safeway on Wednesday. It was BOGO to boot. I generally use it to clean my granite countertops before polishing, but I'm now just making my own wipes to keep in the car so I can wipe down after my grocery store trips.

No Lysol spray or wipes, but lucky for him, his Mother always has extra cleaning supplies. :) So he's getting TP, paper towel, Kleenex, paper plates, dishwashing soap (Dawn) and a bottle of Lysol brand cleaning all-purpose spray.

Sorry to hear about your uncle's dog. Many Petco stores accept donations for local shelters. Our Petco accepts donations for the dog shelter and for the woman who brings in the cats who are up for adoption. She takes food, toys, beds, carriers, etc. So you can donate all sorts of things.
Thank you, tlr. :thanks:
